Course Description
This course teaches you the foundations of real-time systems and how to build real-time applications using FreeRTOS on Arduino boards. The course gives a detailed overview of the characteristics of the FreeRTOS real-time kernel, provides a detailed tutorial on the APIs required to implement the various features of FreeRTOS on Arduino and then goes on to build about 30 real-time projects .
This course does not assume prior knowledge of real-time systems and application programming. By the end of this course you should be able to build your own multitask FreeRTOS real-time applications which use all the features of a modern real-time application (features such as semaphores, mutex, event flags, hooks, queues, mailboxes etc )and then test the performance of these features .You should also be able to : Calculate the CPU Utilization of an RTOS, Understand Rate Monotonic Schedulers, port FreeRTOS to any Arduino board,Understand Round-Robin Schedulers,Understand Weighted-Round-Robin Schedulers, Understand First Come First Served Schedulers, Implement and explain popular scheduling algorithms and so much more. Please take a look at the full course curriculum.

It is no surprise that he again rocks with the information he is sharing. That's, i guess, 4 th course i have taken from him each time i am amazed with the knowledge and very happy to take it... Well deserved even 10 stars, but limit is 5 : )

I am happy I took the course. It will get you started with RTOS based applications running on an Arduino. The course is not perfect; no course is. There is a lot of typing and re-typing of the same code, which uses course time; seems to be a waste, however, it allows the viewer to better follow perhaps. The course could benefit from some cleanup; the ending lectures talk about "what is an RTOS", which one would think should be at the beginning of the course. On the other hand, the course, as it currently is, starts with the practical, hands-on application of FreeRTOS, which is good; if the final, more theoretical mini-lectures were moved at the beginning, some people may get bored and drop the course. So, be patient, go through the whole material, and then, be assured, there is still lots left to learn on your own. It think it was worth the time, hence my 5 stars.

I enjoyed the course and learned quite about using FreeRTOS with an Arduino. However, sections 14 and 15 seemed to be irrelevant to that topic. I would have preferred to see more Arduino-specific examples. For example, the course did not seem to cover the concept of task priority and how to use it effectively to schedule tasks. There also appears to be a lesson or two missing. I think the teaching style is excellent and would definitely be interested in an expanded version of the course with more Arduino examples.

The elocution of this course is very clear and the content of this course is relevant, however, right now, as such it is only a gem in the rough. There are a number of frustrating mistakes and claims made that are simply wrong. The biggest and most obvious problem is that this course lacks the obvious polish of a good technical editorial review. If such were done, it would be a 5 star course. I strongly feel that the course could have been significantly improved and that the author was entirely capable of producing a 5 star product. I would still recommend courses produced by this same author to others as long as he chooses to pay more attention to reviewing his presented material; perhaps by another professional, for accuracy before releasing as an actual course.

The course was a very good match, but unfortunately left a feeling of being incomplete, especially at the end where practical examples, implementing different types of schedulers were expected (apparently a pointer to a different course - cortex M). Also the presenter needs to review the material to ensure that the topics are matched with the actual content.

The Quality of the course is very good. I liked the way it is demonstrated on the Hardware. However, its quite hard to focus on some of the characters in the Video(especially coding) as the maximum resolution is 720p and I have a 1080p monitor. If the resolution of the video can be improved, it would be great!!

I must appreciate that the instructor has explained the whole RTOS thing in very easy and clear manner. I liked the way he does the coding, made it easy for to understand each bits and pieces. He maintains the clarity, suitable for a beginner.

I am enjoying everything about the course. The slides are really well designed and the practical aspect is patiently delivered. Also the instructor encourages me to ask questions at the end of each lesson and I find this very helpful, because it makes me think about the lesson and try to see if I understand everything fully.
