Course Description

NOTE:  This course has over 8 hours of content, however it in incomplete, the course contains complete videos lessons for embedded-c bare metal developemt, embedded-c modular design, primer of arm assembly programming and building peripheral drivers in assembly language and bare-metal embedded-c. I have also attached the complete source code for the robot that was intended to be built in the last video sections.

We are going to embark on a very exciting journey together. In this course we are going to professionally design, code and build an obstacle avoidance autonomous robot purely in bare-metal embedded-c and assembly language. We are not going to use any third party libraries and API's in this course.

By the end of this course you will be able do the following, among many other things:

Code, test and debug an embedded software system written in bare metal embedded-c and assembly.

You will be able to build, test and debug an obstacle avoidance robot from scratch.

You will be able to write drivers and API's using assembly language only

You will be able to write drivers and API's in embedded-c

You will be able to build a complete mechatronic system from scratch

You will be able to write drivers for various sensors and motors

You will be able to write multi-threaded firmwares

You will be able to understand and apply the principles of modular design

You will be able to create professional project documentation.

ARM Cortex-M modular design makes embedded development intuitive and scalable. Its low power, rich peripherals, and CMSIS support simplify prototyping. I found debugging with SWD and integrating RTOS seamless—ideal for real-time control and IoT projects.

Learning alot about programming microcontrollers. Instructor Israel is good at explaining the subject and the course is interesting. Israel awsers questions quickly and in a frendly manner. Currently enjoying Israel's other courses and will be enrolling for more!

Excellent course. I genuinely wonder why I had to pay for that CS course in college. This instructor definitely knows what he is doing.

I like the way the instruction delivers the content. I also the like the mix of electronics design, professional programming approaches and practical c and assembly programming

Awesome course. I am a professional embedded systems engineer and I absolutely recommend this course to anyone interested in learning professional embedded systems developed. Good effort from the instructor.

Thanks udemy, this is worth way more than the prince. Basically you learn about professional firmware design patterns, assembly programming, c programming, navigating datasheets and all of that stuff. I very much recommend this to all embedded systems students out there. One of the best courses I have taken.

This is a good introduction to ARM CMSIS and Assembly using the TI TM4C123GXL Launchpad. Overall, the course is good and the explanations are well done. However, there are incomplete examples and videos that are either missing or out of order. This is both a good thing and a bad thing in that it forces the student to come up with the completed example. But this might be an issue for someone new to Embedded development.
