Course Description

Assembly is a historic programming language, but when you write a program in Java, C# or any other programming language it is translated into Assembly and then Assembly code runs on the processor. So even though Assembly Language is not commonly used programming language. It is still important to know How Assembly works and How you car write programs in Assembly.

In this course, you will learn How Assembly works ( if you learn how assembly works, you understand how the microcontroller works ) and that is useful even if you program in Java or C#. We start off with Inline Assembly, and that is Assembly code wrote inside C/C++. I choose to do so because I want to start simple and then move on to real Assembly.

I Explain Important Concepts such as Registers, Stack, Memory Access, Jumps, Conditional Jumps. And inside this course are plenty of exercises on which you can practice and improve your skills. And if you get stuck or if you don't understand something You can always reach out to me and ask, mostly I respond the same day.

Until now the course isn’t bad but i am a bit disapointed... because I wanted to learn ARM assembly language and here it is not the case also i hope the course goes deeper because as far as i am we are only scratching the surface of this subject . Thank you anyway teacher :)

I've found this course very useful in understeanding logic of Assembly and "how to move" into it. The teacher is very clear and incredibly aviable for every question and every problem you could have along the course, giving amazing suggestion not only around the assembly but about the approaching to the study too. I suggest strongly this course to anyone would like to learn Assembly thanks to clarity of teacher and lessons focused to the point.

I found that much of what I cannot understand I can understand as he is revealing the answers to the problems. If he worked through a few problems like that before the questions, it may go a lot smoother for some.

First he didn t talk about section suc as .org .data .text etc. and also he didn t mention int or syscalls which makes origin of assembly language

This course expects me to have a background in C++ which I do not. Why is it not advertised as such? If it was, I would not have selected it.

Very bad and incorrect english. example: "Welcome to my curse" It should be course. Very bad in explaining the content, lack of teaching experience, and with the incorrect and bad english, makes it even worse to understand.

The main highlight of the course is Luke teaches assembly language with C language(inline assembly). This makes it very easy to understand the overall concept and the flow of assembly language. Hence making the entire assembly learning process simple.

Da ich schon leichte Vorkenntnisse hatte konnte ich mich hier schnell einarbeiten. Sicher sind 2 Stunden Material noch ausbaufähig, aber man bekommt schnell vermittelt wie Assembly funktioniert, wie man es Anwenden kann (In dem Fall innerhalb von C++ / Visual Studio) und auch einiges an Befehlen und Abläufen.
