Course Description
The Automotive Engineering: Automobile Fundamentals and Advanced Course is a multidisciplinary course where you will study the fundamental concepts regarding the Engineering and Operation of Cars, including physics topics, mechanics, materials, transmission, engine operation and more. My intention is that you fully understand the main topics regarding the Design and Engineering of Cars and other vehicles, so that you grasp clearly how to design Cars and how to size their components and choose their materials.
The course is aimed at providing a solid background in Automotive Engineering so that you can scale up your knowledge in the topic and gain confidence in your own skills. The course is about uniting Engineering and Technical skills for an overall improved know-how of Cars.
The structure of the Course is the following:
Introduction
Vehicle Dynamics
Materials Science
Chassis
Engine
Transmission
We will discuss topics such as the design of the Chassis as it evolved over time and current trends, the forces acting on cars including cornering force, traction and more. We will also get a bit more theoretical studying fictitious forces, vehicle dynamics and much more!
The objectives of the Course are for you to understand the basics and some advanced concepts in the development and design of Automobiles. This will be done in a similar way as studied in Engineering schools, from the fundamental physics concepts to the real application in cars today. The concepts you will learn will enable you to work confidently in Automotive Projects as well as to expand your knowledge in this topic.
I encourage you to begin this journey to Automotive Engineering, you won't regret it! If you have any doubts during the course feel free to contact me, I will answer as quick as possible!

Lluís Foreman
My name is Lluís Foreman and I am an aerospace engineer deeply interested in space, aeronautics and other engineering fields. I am currently working in the NewSpace sector in Barcelona, Spain, with relevant experience in various domains of engineering and management.
I studied a bachelor's degree in aerospace vehicle engineering, a master's degree in aeronautical engineering and a master's degree in space engineering. I was also involved in several projects at university, from aircraft to rockets.
I devote a lot of time to working on the space sector but I also enjoy providing quality material for those of you who want to know more about aerospace and other engineering fields. I started uploading engineering courses 5 years ago, in 2018, and have continued to improve the quality of the content using the feedback provided by students throughout this time.
My aim is to convince students that engineering is composed by topics that, even if sometimes complex, can be understood. The courses aim to provide a solid background in engineering domains to facilitate comprehension of key fundamental topics, as well as to encourage students to further explore their interests with a deeper know-how.
Feel free to contact me for information regarding the courses or additional information on engineering!
I hope you find the courses useful and enjoy the material uploaded!
Kind regards to all,
Lluís Foreman

Very well planned course and the way lectures delivered were absolutely amazing and quiz after every lecture ensure deep understanding of respective topics. At the end I would say steering system was bit difficult for me to understand. Thank you so much for this amazing course!

This is a very comprehensive course for beginners to a greater extent. This course provides indepth knowlege on mechanical systems in cars without being too complicated to comprehend for beginners. I recommend you view this course even if you have a general curiousity about mechanical systems and cars. That is why this course is excellent for beginners to a greater extent.

The course was very well structured and everything that was handled in it was explained very clearly and visually. The only remark that I would like to give is that this course is very expensive in relation to the amount of information that is provided within. I do not think I would have bought this course i it weren't in reduction, for I do not think it is worth the full price.

It's overall a good course, it teaches the fundamentals of car systems in a clear and easy way. Some videos have minor misinformation that can be corrected to not lead to misunderstanding. Overall it's good, and worth the money spent. Recommended for the ones who are wondering what are the main systems of a car and how they work.

This course provides a good overview of the basic concepts associated with the field of automobile engineering in a very cohesive manner which makes it quite easier to understand for anyone who is interested in knowing about the working of the inner systems associated with a vehicle. The manner in which the content was explained also results in a very good experience for the learner.

An absolutely brilliant course. It exceeded my expectations in all aspects and was very well explained by Mr Foreman. I already had a good understanding of cars but this course took me to another level. I am very grateful to have done this course and would recommend it to anyone with an interest in cars. I truly hope that another course on Automotive Engineering will be published, I would do it without hesitation. Thank you!

As an Electrical Engineer, this course is aiding me in gaining a great deal of information in auto mechanics and all of the technology utilized in the past and present. This course, together with Mr. Luis's Aerospace engineering courses, are the keys to actual engineering practical experience, allowing anybody interested in continuing to produce future technologies. It also aids in the furtherance of my research on robots for my desired future. Many thanks, Luis. Don't stop. You are more than we need. Cordially, Eng. Hussain Alsadiq

Good course, great explanations of the basic concepts. I had to increase the speed/pause some times, for the things I already knew/the ones I did not understand from the first time, but that was ok. I think the course is ok like it is. Thank you.

Thank you for this course. I am a fresh graduate mechanical engineering student who aspires to be an engineer someday. I liked the way you teached this course very on point. I was already familiar with most of the topics that you discussed its just that i wanted to undestand the subject more without the mathematical parts of it which are more elaborated in our bachelors degree. I thank you again for teaching this course and i will surely give you a good review.

The content must be easy for the teacher cause he would have mastered that for number of times. However, its very awful to asume that its easy for the student as well and just not explaining properly or skipping while saying its easy,so people already understand? people see the video mostly because they wanna learn something new not to be reminded of how stupid they are because they dont find some stuff as easy as you.
