It was great course to learn Serverless for the first timers! Very patient and elaborate explanation. But it would've been great if the author provided the code elsewhere, like Github for later reference or just copy-paste instead of manually typing it in as the focus of the course is on Serverless and not on writing JS or Python programs.

Nice way to start on the serverless world, little tricky to follow since the code it's not always available and there are no links tied on each section either for the code for the current section or the documentation related. Sometimes sections he just start coding/talking without let you know he created a new project or something like that. In general good course to start.

From the beginning till the end, Paulo was very clear and explained each concept to the letter! A perfect example is his explanation and demonstration of AWS Step Functions. The real-world examples in this course just answered most of the questions I had about AWS. A special thanks to the course facilitator for not only teaching but also inspiring the learners. I really enjoyed taking this course. Before this I has taken another course on lambda but this one was different. The instructor explains the concepts very well and touches on what is actually needed to work on as a developer. The hands on are broken down in a simplistic fashion and make serverless look so easy.

The AWS Lambda part of this course is awesome. It teaches you all you need to know about AWS Lambda to get started. The API Gateway part is a something I was expecting more. If Stephane could have provided more real time examples then it would have have helped students like me to grasp the concepts better.

This course seems a bit outdated, although still useful. Also, it didn't seem like there were any TAs keeping up on the questions. Lastly, Section 9 was from some other course, but there were no additional resources or files provided. Not sure if I would recommend this course.

The best thing is that there are a lot of hands-on examples. I won't say you will become a master in AWS Lambda. No tutorial can do that. It will come to you only if you do your part of research and get your hands dirty. But what you need is the guidance of how to approach things and a broad picture of what lambda has for you. This course does that pretty well.
