It was a great course! The explanations were detailed. The hands-on labs were engaging and helped cement the instructor's explanation. All-in-all, I loved the ground-level view of the subject matter which has given me a great view of what AWS EC2 is, its services, but also it let me know how to use it and it has given me many ideas on how to implement it in future solutions.

I rate this course 10 stars, because 5 stars as a max rating is ain't just good enough from my point of view. My weak points used to be ELB and ASG, but after going through this EC2 Masterclass course, all the mysteries behind EC2 from start to finish were unfolded and now I feel very confident and cloud-ready.

A deep dive on Amazon EC2 Service. I understood EC2 to an extent before I took this course but this course helped me to get a deeper understanding of the service. Hopefully I will be able to take this knowledge further to ace the Solutions Architect Associate exams in the near future. Thank you Stephen!!!

The course was really good and I have done other courses from Stephane and they were all awesome. However, I am not sure if 5 hours of content is enough to call myself an expert. I am hoping Stephane adds more content to this course to make it more comprehensive and he can also talk about more complex use cases where EC2 stands out. Thanks for producing these courses Stephane.

First of all I would like to thanks both Stephen and Udemy for the course. Which is very easy and helps beginners to understand EC2 concepts very easily. My only concern is it would have been more useful if you combine this with VPC so that people will get more scope and exposed to realtime scenarios. I faced the difficulty after finishing the course in VPC area when launching instances. Hope Stephen will consider this request and expecting to come up with labs with combination of VPC and EC2. Met all my expectations! I'm new to AWS and was looking for an introductory course and I'm glad I found it. The course is fast paced but well planned and articulated in a progressive way. This course does not cover everything that one might expect but that's not the objective of the course either. It will prepare you face the AWS documentation and the jargons with ease. You will get your hands dirty and rolling your EC2 instances in no time. Some nitpicking :) 1. Stephane should consider slowing down a bit while he talks. It's just about the pace. Nevertheless, his language is good, articulates well and intelligible. 2. I wish Stephane discusses about Availability Zones and Regions in brief. No big deal though. 3. The section on IP and CIDR needs a bit more details. Again, no big deal here. I would still rate the course 5 stars. Great job Stephane! Impressed and have since bought two more AWS courses from the instructor.

I'm a Senior Rails dev with basic AWS experience. I felt this was a very complete and in depth course on Amazon EC2. I didn't know much going in to the course. After completing the course, I know a lot of detailed information about EC2 and feel confident about applying the knowledge in my work. The hands on examples were very helpful in applying the concepts in the lectures. Very good course overall!

First of all, I want to say, Stephane is great!! I'm editing this review (from 2 stars) after going back and re-watching the entire series. A few months ago, when I first took this course, I was very new to AWS and I took my own frustrations out in that review. So Stephane, if this message finds you: I am sorry. I will say, before taking a deep dive into ANY of the services, make sure you have a really good high-level overview of AWS, the cloud, and maybe even a little networking... Anyways, after reconsideration, this is an absolutely great course for anyone looking to take a deep dive into EC2!

Four stars for this bright explanation on AWS EC2. This is the course for you if you had started using EC2 for personal purposes and going to use it in a professional capacity. Taking one star out due to some explanations of certain basic CS knowledge in the course that were not given their due attention in detail. Overall, recommended!

I've come back to this course because I'm lacking some fundamentals in order for me to take my knowledge to the next level and get more certifications. I've recommended this course to several people already. I highly recommend this EC2 Master Class to anyone who needs a better understanding of anything related to EC2. It would be great if Stephane made more courses like this one! ;)
