Course Description

Bad Boss - Dealing with a Toxic Manager

Be happy and successful at work with these practical solutions handling a Bad Boss. Dealing with a difficult or Toxic manager

Having a bad boss or difficult manager can ruin not only your 9-5 weekdays but also create a toxic environment for your personal life too. It's not surprising that it's impossible to switch from being stressed or unhappy at work to joyfully spending the weekend reading on the beach. A difficult boss using aggressions can haunt you with stress and unhappiness throughout your week. Regardless of your age or experience at any stage of your career a boss can be a huge problem for your long term progress and daily satisfaction... and that's what this course is designed to cure. If you are living with a challenging boss or manager and instead want to create an environment which is happy, productive and respectful, this course is perfect for you. It is possible, and there is hope!

In this course you'll learn practical techniques to deal with aggressions and overcome a toxic work environment. Each lecture is tailored to a different management issue and will give you precise words to say, a range of practical non-confrontational techniques, and detailed tips on how you solve the problem. Most bad bosses are in fact not pure evil (although a couple are!) - often they are poorly trained or misguidedly trying to help you. The good news from this is that there is hope - by using these methods you can slowly train your boss to be a better manager to you, and create a happy and successful work environment.

After this course you will be calm, collected, well prepared for any difficult conversations. In fact - you should be happy in the office and progressing quickly through your career! The course looks at lots of real life examples (some of which will definitely get you cringing) and give you practical tools you can use right away to get better results in your work relationship. Whether you're brand new to a role, or been living with this toxic relationship for years, this course will build essential skills for your negotiations, relationship building, and overcoming confrontation nerves.

Very bad content. I regret purchasing it. All the ideas he is giving is basically leaving your job and looking for another job. I don’t see any benefits.

Timing for this course is just impeccable. I was clouded with frustration but Chris helped put everything into perspective. From me understanding who I am dealing with to sharing advise on how I can best navigate. His advice sounds practical enough, I know exactly what to do next.

Chris’ library of courses is large and each has a lot useful material. I want to quickly leave a review and also provide some indication to anyone that may be curious about this course. This production is minimal and the language is conversational-many of the courses are the same. The information in this course will age well, and I can see why it would cross languages easily.

I am always looking for areas to improve upon for my self as a manager. I saw a few areas in this course to improve my skills as well as areas to work with my leadership folks above me. Chris tends to make his courses informative and able to draw in practical examples to create the "AH ha" moment. Thanks Chris..

I watched several courses by Chris Croft and loved all of them. They are filled with practical tips that can all be used in your professional life and in some cases personal life as well since, for instance, we negotiate with friends, partners, and family members. In this course, he focuses on how to take care of yourself, stay sane at your job, and work out issues with your boss instead of pretending that all is good while suffering silently.

I appreciated the honest of the course that bad bosses can range from poor training to just completely evil. That is a truth that seems to be rarely acknowledged and dealt with. The course gives useful and practical strategies for dealing with a variety of poor management styles.
