Customer Service Mastery: Delight Every Customer (Udemy.com)
Master Customer Service using this practical customer care course

Our take
Based on the ratings of 28,010 students, a sample of their written reviews and the syllabus, as the course stood in May 2025. No course pays to be reviewed.
Chris Croft's course is 2.5 hours and 40 lectures in four sections. Most of that time, 32 lectures and about 108 minutes, goes on a run of ideas for delighting customers. It treats customer care as a mindset and a source of repeat business and referrals, not as a set of scripts or software. The audience list points at managers and business owners first, with people heading into customer care roles second. Nothing is required beyond a willingness to learn, though it helps to have a real business in mind.
Reviewers like the delivery most. They call the teaching clear, friendly and practical, with real-life examples that keep their attention, and one says they laughed out loud more than in all the other courses they watched that week. One calls it a good reminder to see things from the customer's side. The complaints are mild. One reviewer wants shorter segments, and a 3-star reviewer found the anecdotes too long and the slideshow at the end nitpicky. Another found the customer requirements part hard to follow.
About 58 percent of the roughly 28,000 ratings are five stars, and fewer than 2 percent are one or two stars. With nearly 64,000 students and a 4.6 average, it is a safe pick for a quick burst of inspiration. It was last updated in May 2025. Treat it as an idea generator, not a deep training program. If you want a few hours of prompts to hand to your team, it fits. If you want process and tooling, look elsewhere.
Pros
- Instructor is clear and friendly, and reviewers say his real-life examples hold attention
- 32 idea lectures make up most of the 2.5 hours, so there is plenty to try at work
- Humor is a real draw: one reviewer laughed more here than in all other courses that week
- Rated 4.6 from about 28,000 ratings, with 58 percent giving five stars
Cons
- Some segments run long, and one reviewer wants them broken into smaller chunks
- Anecdotes can drag or drift off topic, and the closing slideshow felt nitpicky to one reviewer
- Idea-based and only 2.5 hours, so no frameworks, scripts or complaint-handling depth
The lecturer is clear, easy to understand, makes practical examples and also help you to focus.
Listed for all levels. Suits managers, owners and newcomers to customer care; no prior knowledge needed.

Course Description
Customer Service: Delight Your Customers with Customer Care
Master Customer Service - delight your customers using great customer care and benefit from lifelong loyalty and referrals
Do your customers LOVE you? Do they rave to their friends about what a great company you are? Would they ever consider switching to a competitor? Do they always leave your premises happy and well cared for? You might think this is a faraway dream, too expensive to achieve, or simply impossible for a product/business like yours….But guess what - it’s not! Customer Service can make all of those goals come true, and doesn’t need to cost you anything except creativity and passion.
Amazingly there are almost no official theories, tools or frameworks out there talking about Customer Care. For me it’s one of the most powerful and underestimated marketing, sales and leadership areas. So, I have created a step by step course you can use to come up with original, cost effective and unique ways to delight every customer and have them coming back to you time after time. Imagine if all your customers became repeat clients, and referred you to others many times over? You could fire your whole sales and marketing team! In my experience, most employees genuinely want to do a good job and make customers happy, but often don’t have the tools or empowerment to make it a reality. This course fixes that with simple, tried and tested ideas that have been working for decades.
Over my 20 year management coaching career I've seen thousands of businesses... and I've pinpointed all the ways they could improve their customer service! The challenge with Customer Service is you need to be constantly ahead of your competitors and offering something unique and special to delight the customer. If you don't already have fresh Customer Service ideas popping up on a daily basis I’d highly recommend taking this course. It will allow you to build a loyal fanbase of customers who would never dream of spending their money elsewhere... and that could multiply your revenues many times over!

I’m really impressed. The real life, firsthand experiences used as examples gave life to the teaching. A friendly teacher I would say! Thanks for smiling a lot, that eases my tension

Excellent. Not just the content - packed full of ideas I'm eager to try for myself - but, just as importantly, the delivery. I've had a week of watching online courses. I laughed out loud more with this one than all the others put together. I'll definitely be on the lookout for more from Chris, and will opt for those in preference. I'm definitely one customer your course delighted! Thanks.

The course was fine. The anecdotes went on too long and sometimes were borderline irrelevant. I feel the added-on slideshow at the end actually took away from the professional presentation of the rest of the course as it came across as nitpicking. I do not think if you were inviting the Queen (now King) to tea, you would be wanting to discuss ash trays and hairs in a laminated sign.

This course enlightened me on perception and first encounters not only in Customer Service, but as a customer as well. Humans sometimes get comfortable in their position and forget the main purpose which is to satisfy our consumers and be respectful to each other.

I found the course to be great and very detailed. The lessons taught give a great insight on some the things that as CXO we usually neglect or take for granted. looking forward to learning more to improve the services I offer at work and my personal businesses

I'd like to set a filter on my Udemy course search to only include people who speak with your accent! What a pleasure to listen and lots of great insight, thank you!
