I think the name of the course is a bit missleading, its not so much about scripting as a general introdutction to Linux. But thats OK. I enjoyed it.

Tries to give a comprehensive background about how computing works,rather than restricting it to only scripting. This is a good thing as it tells me instructor is passionate about what he is teaching and tries to provide a solid foundation in first module itself

Very complete and well-explained. Goes through all the nitty-gritty of many system commands and the OS inner workings. The course is more focused on that.
