Really good course to start scripting on Mac or Linux. I work in IT and it was really helpful!

By Christopher Sampson on 12/22/2020

I have a bit of experience with shell scripting, this was perfect for some CPD. There are a few coughs and sneezes in the videos that don't take away from the content, but are a bit annoying (hence 4 stars instead of 5). Also, I think the course could be improved by having some questions for you to solve etc... But all in all a very good course.

The caourse is very much pratical in nature and also a quick refresher for someone who already know a bit of linux/unix...appreciate the efforts ..

By Arthur Mafra on 8/3/2020

By Pete Harvey on 4/5/2020

A very enjoyable course. Many every day commands covered in great detail. A great mentor!

By StenlyTU on 12/21/2019

I liked the course even that I'm not a beginner in Bash. The course focuses on explaining some of the Linux commands rather than Bash scripting.

By Tom Yates on 8/27/2019

Loads of information. Some examples are not super clear (e.g. user John in group John, but Bob is also in group John. Why not have a more appropriate name for a group, also some of the file names could be made more realistic). Overall a lot better than some other courses on Udemy. I've learnt a lot, even though I had a basic understanding of a lot of what was discussed here.

By Sibusiso Mayalo on 7/15/2019

The course was exactly what I was looking for. Clear explanations, easy to follow and comprehensive live demos. Anyone who wants to learn Bash, don't look elsewhere, this is the course for you.

By Carlo Lewis on 1/24/2018

Great course about Bash. One of the most in depth tutorial I had. I had never seen such a good tutorial on Bash script.
