Bash Shell Scripting: Crash Course For Beginners (Udemy.com)

This is a fantastic course!! It is perfect for learners who have a tiny bit of Linux experience. However, I believe even for the learners who have ABSOLUTE 0 knowledge in the Linux terminal, this class will still be digestible. I love the way that the teacher is teaching in slow paste and explain the concepts well. I only completed the first section and a few videos on the second section so far, and I am EXTREMELY satisfied about the course. This course is even better than the former Linux course I just finished from another teacher. In addition, this class is ONLY 5.5 hours - it gets to the point into a way that I learned a lot and have a high chance completing the course, unlike some classes that are 40+ hours long which I cannot complete it. So far, I will give a score of 100/100 for this course. I look forward when the later section begin teaching me Bash Scripting

Very Good Course to start Shell Scripting, the teaching is good, however it happened sometimes that you did something and did not mention how to do it and as I was practicing side by side I got stuck (e.g- Closing Nano text editor, how to save and close etc I had to look around and then found it in QnA section. This was the only change I would like you to implement as it will help a complete beginner).

There is just only one thing missing in this course that is how to install bash. Except that, everything is in place. It is a very good course for any beginner. Just go through the course from first to last lecture and practice as sir said. I have learnt a lot of things in this course.

Te course was quite insightful, easy to understand and I was able to relate the modules with the projects I am working on. Quick response to questions posted are expected , i have not received the answers to my question posted questions

Perfect course for learning shell scripting, this course will clear all your basics. The course also contain quiz, which I personally think is a best way to test your learnings and last but not least you will get quick reply on your asked questions/doubts.

Good course! Just wish the instructor did more examples as well as project solutions using Ubuntu, as some of the MAC commands didn't work on my VM. Also wish the instructor did a better job explaining the exercises, as some of the explanations did not match the solutions.

Section 3 and 4 are really helpful. You save the time reading the long bash document and head straight to the part that frequently used. The final project is an enlightening example. Glad that I solve it on my own.

The instructor is really good. It is very good course for absolute beginner. I really liked the way this course has been organized. I would rather give one additional * :)

Overall really good course to start with. But would really appreciate if Array based topics and shell scripting programs are included and also more detailing on AWK.

I personally found the pace of the course a bit slow so I watched the videos at 1.25x speed. Worked perfectly fine for me. Recommended for those who are new to Bash scripting.
