Fantastic course. Only frustration : A bit confusing at the beginning, when instructor taught that particular fingers needed to be reserved for particular strings! However after later learning to ignore that (from other bass players) and just walk (alternate) the Index and Middle fingers. No problem. I could drop the Pick and the course came alive. Thanks.

Dobry kurs na start, jasno i klarownie, tempo pracy nie goni, co wpływa pozytywnie i nie powoduje zniechęcenia. Good course for start, its clarity helps to understand all the lessons, also the pace of work is good and it feels like you are not falling off.

Very useful course. Good balance between theory and practice. In the beginning the exercises are easy but useful for correct playing technique. Then it becomes necessary to train with the backing tracks with different tempos to 'pass' the backing track part of the lecture. This is an excellent starter course and I feel safe to move on to more specific bass training courses after this one.

Everything is good but with the camera position it makes it hard to see on which string and fret your finger is on which makes it difficult to practice along with the video

This course has made it very easy to understand the techniques. I have tried taking other online classes for both Guitar and Bass but most felt rushed or didn't explain things in a simple form. Would definitely recommend this course to friends who are looking to learn how to play the Bass in the future.

I enjoyed the course, definitely improved my technique, it's very much aimed at beginners with a nice and steady pace and plenty of tricky parts to keep you practising. One preference I would have liked it if the backing tracks were attachments rather than additional parts of the course, because it doesn't show as complete until I've been through every backing track. But that said I highly recommend this course if you're thinking of picking up bass. Now I just need to find a band....

The instructor is very low energy, but I have been learning quite a bit and been able to follow along so far. I'm still in some of the earlier lessons. I was a complete beginner to everything musical and this course is at my level -- for the most part. There could be better instructions regarding the notes and finger positioning, but after a few re-watches of some of the lessons I am able to get past some of the trickier instructions.

So far so good, sometimes moving form lesson to practice portion, like to session 34 and one earlier, it wouldn't load or it would skip on or off making it hard to focus on previous lesson. I am making progress with making practice a daily habit, which will eventually help me learn to play. Thank you!

I wish additional resources were available in the form of sheet music that designated which chords to play by specifying the numbered fret on each string. On a handout, he could have designated both the chord and the fret so it would be easier to follow. There were several instances where visually I couldn't tell what the instructor was playing and the explanation ran over it. In the first few sections he broke it down better, but then as the lessons progressed, he lost me.
