Course Description

Become an Agile Coach who can do more than teach frameworks. Learn how to coach people and teams, diagnose complex systems, facilitate change, and help organizations deliver better outcomes.

This course has been completely rebuilt and re-recorded for 2026, bringing together practical Agile Coaching skills, facilitation, team and systems diagnosis, product thinking, metrics, technical agility, modern tools, AI, and career development.

You will learn Scrum, Kanban, Lean, XP, OKRs, user stories, estimation, product discovery, and other practices — but this is not a course about memorizing frameworks and terminology.

Instead, you will learn to ask the questions an Agile Coach faces in the real world:

What is actually happening in this team? Why is work taking so long? What is preventing us from learning? What does the customer actually need? Which intervention would help — and when should I leave the system alone?

Because real organizations are messy. Frameworks are tools.

Your job as an Agile Coach is to understand the system, help people learn, and find the next useful experiment.

What You Will Learn

  • Think and work like an Agile Coach: Understand the role of an Agile Coach and learn when to coach, mentor, teach, facilitate, or consult

  • Coach individuals and teams: Develop active listening, powerful questioning, coaching conversations, feedback, psychological safety, conflict navigation, and professional boundaries

  • Diagnose teams and systems: Observe how work really happens, map value delivery, identify bottlenecks and dependencies, distinguish symptoms from underlying problems, and decide where to intervene

  • Facilitate conversations that lead to action: Design and facilitate Agile events, business meetings, workshops, difficult conversations, remote sessions, and continuous improvement

  • Apply Agile practices intelligently: Understand Scrum, Kanban, Lean, XP, adaptive planning, OKRs, retrospectives, and scaling approaches through the lens of the problems they are designed to solve

  • Coach product and customer thinking: Work with customer value, product discovery, assumptions and evidence, experiments, user stories, healthy backlogs, estimation, prioritization, and feedback loops

  • Measure what matters: Work with outcomes, outputs, team health, cycle time, lead time, throughput, WIP, velocity, OKRs, and coaching impact without turning metrics into performance targets

  • Understand technical agility without becoming an engineer: Learn the coaching implications of technical debt, CI/CD, built-in quality, DevOps, engineering flow, dependencies, handoffs, and architecture

  • Build your professional toolkit: Use Jira and other digital tools intelligently, create reusable coaching assets and workshop libraries, and use AI as a thinking partner without outsourcing your judgment

  • Build your Agile Coaching career: Learn how to develop experience before getting the title, present your work on your CV, prepare for interviews, evaluate potential employers, and understand the path toward Enterprise Agile Coaching

  • Handle messy real-world situations: Learn from practical coaching cases and “Golden Nuggets” covering situations that rarely look as clean as they do in Agile textbooks

Why This Course Is Different

Many Agile courses teach you how a framework is supposed to work.

Agile Coaching is a different job.

Knowing the Scrum events does not tell you what to do when a team doesn't want your help.

Knowing Kanban does not tell you why work keeps getting stuck between departments.

Knowing how to run a retrospective does not tell you why nothing changes afterwards.

And knowing Agile terminology does not tell you how to challenge a leader, coach a Product Owner, talk to engineers when you are not technical, or recognize that the team's problem may have nothing to do with Agile at all.

An Agile Coach needs to listen before diagnosing, diagnose before prescribing, and experiment before imposing solutions.

Throughout the course, I share practical examples, mistakes, interventions, and lessons from my own work with teams, leaders, and organizations — including situations where textbook Agile simply did not fit.

The goal is not to make every team look Agile.

The goal is to help people and systems think, learn, adapt, and deliver better outcomes for their customers.

At first In thought the course was a bit too detailed, but after I started to realize Masha has tons of experience, I trust her that she made it part of the course for a good reason. With Masha's help I hope I can make the transformation from a QA Engineer to an Agile Coach more easily. Thank you for the knowledge sharing!

You might want to do some user research on your examples. the fatphobic example where the coach changes the fat person's mindset about diet and exercise has one major problem: none of it is true. Diet and exercise, will, on average, at best, let someone lose about 5kg/10lbs. There comes a point, soon, where no amount of diet and exercise will work -- in fact, both reducing calories and eating less will ultimately result in weight GAIN. This has been known for decades. That it's showing up in a course about changing mindsets and doing research is a poor reflection upon whoever wrote the course.

The course is excellent. That said, I believe the majority focuses on an overview of Agile not becoming an Agile coach. To me, sections 10, 13, and 14 are the ones that have some insights into Agile Coaching. I think this is a great course for people who want a refresher on Agile or who are new Scrum Masters or Product Owners who want to level up. I still give it 5 stars because it has great content and I would definitely take another one of Masha's courses.

Great course. Course materials are broken down into smaller chunks and explained in plain English. It is easy to understand and a great start for any agile enthusiast. The instructor covered a lot of ground. This course could be more enjoyable if other teaching methods (animations, chat, cartoons, tiny role play, etc) are added instead of continuous lectures. Thank for creating this course.

I work as a product owner and have a CSPO certification and some of the concepts were good refreshers. The examples of issues teams face are spot-on and it’s great to learn from somebody who has worked on this. This course gave me some ideas for improvements I can (gently) introduce to the teams I work with as well as to reinforce the understanding of the things we’re doing right. Good introduction to the topic of agile coaching.

This is absolutely brilliant course no doubt on that but I observed some of the concepts are stretched which makes interest loosened out in middle of the course set such as the topics like "From waterfall to agile" then "Transformation Pace" there are many other topics which could have been more interesting. Overall explanation standard is excellent and nice one

Congrats Masha for you excellent course and knowledge of the Agile World.

Yes, this course delivered excellent. I like this method, every lessons I would like to the tutor to use this method use how to do things, using slides show, that way will help students to practice, but explanation only is not enough for me, because I have never been on scrum master or Agile job field yet, that is why I am learning these to follow tutor’s instructions how to use these projects management tools. I am very happy for Jira lesson, because I have a little idea now how to use it.

Excellent course if you want to learn about agile and being an agile coach. The teacher provides all aspects of learning on this subject. One thing I would say is that there is a lot of talking directly at the camera. Perhaps it can be better structured to have more visual aids. Aside from that this is a very useful course if you want to be an agile coach.

Thanks Masha!!!! You have been the best instructor and coach. I could understand the big picture of agile through your impeccable presentation and examples. Thanks for being so genuine in making the concepts simpler to understand. Hats off to you. To the learners- this is ‘the best’ course on agile coaching and techniques you will ever come across. I have read many books and watched so many videos but what Masha has presented here has no comparison whatsoever. I completed all the tutorials in 3 days and wanting to learn more and more cos the course is that rich in content that you will never feel like stopping. I am planning to learn again n again just that it’s so so good. I am extremely happy with the decision to purchase and learn from her, and all the best in your agile journey!!
