Course Description

Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment using Azure DevOps! This course isn't just a bunch of theory on how we think you should deploy software; there are no power point slides. This is a hands on deep dive into how to deploy a three tier application through multiple environments with quality gates. We have developed a three tier application that we will deploy throughout this course and by the end of this course you will know how to deploy Azure SQL Databases, .
net core apis and React front end applications.
Once you have finished this course you will be able to apply this knowledge to your own projects and ship products to production quicker than ever before.
We will teach you how to spin up azure resources with the click of a button and deploy infrastructure for a full stack application in minutes.
But most importantly we are going to teach you how to schedule your releases so they go live when you are asleep.
In this course you will get online support so if you have any questions you can post them in the discussions and we will get back to you within 24 hoursWho this course is for:
Software developers who want to learn how to reduce their time to market by using DevOps principles to deploy their software automatically

I know this class is dated, following along in 2020 is a bit tough. the biggest problem is the volume difference between the content and the opening splash. The volume on the content is so low I have to turn my headphones all the way up. that wouldntt be too bad, but the opening sound is so loud in comparison. Otherwise the content is solid and very useful.

I couldnt get kudu to work - its possible its because i was running through a visual studio subscriber free subscription. Not sure. Also the update of appsettings.json to the variable did not seem to work. Its most likely an issue from my end. However I did learn what I wanted to learn - basics of devops and database deployment. So all good with me thanks

Be wary, a lot of Azure DevOps screens have changed, for example in Section 7 whilst trying to locate the ARM templates and quite a few questions in this section have no answer even after 10 months.

As a long time user of Udemy I have enjoyed good courses with great material, but this is a repoff a completaly joke I cant give it more than one star considering this poor material quality and I'm been objective nothing personal in the middle of my rating so far.
