it's been great, it does go pretty fast. I often have to find myself pausing and going back to rehear the process. But it has helped a lot.

I, personally, really enjoyed this course. I had already had a year of blender under my belt before starting this course and yet it taught me so much: Proper texture/material development, compositing, the fact you can turn on a feature that prevents you from gabbing two close together topology from a mesh. He went over it quite fast, but to be honest it didn't bother me at all. Mostly due to understanding most of he was doing already. For a beginner course, it is fast but otherwise really amazing

I really enjoyed the course. For the most part it was very well organized and presented. The final project section was a challenge for me. I had a hard time following the material creation with nodes in the final project as it layered patterns, and material type. But I managed to get through it okay and now know where to focus my future learning when it comes to texturing.

Very good course and my skills have improved tenfold. I had some experience with blender from studying for about a month or two consistently but this improved my experience. Now I can think of creative ways to model things rather than just guessing. I even know a bit more about sculpting now. Issues: Main issue is timelapse in my opinion, doesn’t happen often and mostly near the end but even with things explained I hate timelapses, makes things hard to follow or do in my opinion. I just tried to do it in my own way whenever a timelapse came on. Also still not sure about nodes. He explained them but idk if it’s just me or whether or not there was as much explanation as there was with the organic modelling which was very useful and easy to understand. I wish he explained why he would copy or extrude some objects. He does but it all the time, I want it to be every time because the logic he goes helps me to apply it to my own concepts. My biggest issue is no retopology. I thought he’d show is the process so we can All learn it. It’s difficult to understand. Overall, good course and definitely worth the money!

So, I have found it helpful to first wright out the step by step and have him on the slowest setting. Because he does go kind of fast. and having to remember all the buttons while looking back and forth is a lot. I was hoping he would say everything to press but that's ok. He also doesn't tell you what to download as far as like the loop function. I went down a rabbit hole trying to find that. But regardless I have learned a lot and do recommend him. If you have the patience for it lol.

As someone who had absolutely no knowledge of Blender and very little knowledge of any kind of 3D software, I found this course to be absolutely fantastic. It covered all the basics and really helped to give me an understanding of how to use the program on the most fundamental level. This means that after taking this course, I am able to experiment and expand my understanding in all sorts of directions. The way the course is divided into different sections that cover the different areas of 3D modelling, made it easy to follow and understandable while keeping things focused. The sections help give a wide range of practical applications for all of the tools and allow for some creative expression even when following along with the content in the videos. The instructor was also very quick to reply to questions that I had throughout the course in the Q&A section and was usually able to solve things very quickly and easily, which was fantastic. The only negative I would say is that the material creation section felt somewhat under explained. This meant that when it came to the final project, I more or less skipped through that final part because I didn't really have an understanding of it. This is completely understandable as materials and textures are a lot more complicated and would probably require a dedicated course. I will say though that the section in this course would have benefited from some practical exercises rather than a simple application of each material, but that's the only negative thing I can really say. This was a fantastic course and I feel like I have learned a massive amount and have already begun modeling my own things for 3D printing and all sorts of other fun purposes. Highly recommended.

This course is honestly great! At first I was like meh, maybe I don't need to learn 3D modeling. Though then I realized 3D modeling is an extremely important aspect to videogame design. It was my dream job to be a videogame designer, and taking this course has been improving my skills. I'm very glad I obtained this course, the things that the mentor teaches are very useful! He's great to work with.

Fantastic course to get your head around Modeling, procedural texturing and more in Blender. I wish there was a bit more info about retopology but otherwise it's was a very useful course with great explanation, good working practise advise and fun models to make. Thank you!
