This course was very meaty with good content that will keep me busy in reviewing and planning for my blog writing. It was practical which I like and can be immediately implemented. I like hat there were no assignments because I wanted to work through it in a short time and then I can practice in application on my blog. I would have given it a 4-star rating if Ian had included real life examples like he tells us to do. I would like to have seen some blogs that incorporated his examples. He seems to have pulled this together on the fly, in fact he says he did, and I think just a little more time to show us examples on blogs would have made this more valuable class.

I learned simple methods on how to write a blog post. I also learned how easy it is to find topics to write about, where to look for these topics and several different styles to writing a blog post. Very informative, easy to understand and straight to the point. Thank you.

Simple and brilliant. Ian is an engaging expert who made the, what I thought, confusing process of writing blog posts easy and doable. He organized the course into a logical progression of skills and explained each clearly and concisely with real-world examples. Took the course yesterday and today used the technique and wrote one of my best blog posts to date. Thanks Ian PS He has a really nice accent too

I enjoy the instructor's easy to follow descriptions with visual aids but feel like there could be more instruction on how to do each step. Instead of just saying, "find a way to put them together." I had hoped he would show us step by step how o build a title, for example.

I am blogging professionally and have been looking to learn how to achieve more. I wanted to learn how to deliver articles quicker; articles that are more compelling and keep readers coming back again and again. Of course, in learning how to do this I want to keep myself ahead of the pack and win assignments in greater numbers. I have taken most of Ian's other courses. I have also read his Kindle books on writing. So, I kind of knew what I was in for. Happily, Ian has once again delivered. I particularly liked the section on writing methods. If you haven't enrolled yet, waste no more time! Go and do it now. You won't regret it.

A little basic for me. A slightly dated approach to blogging. I didn't bother watching the mind map videos.. they really didn't add any value.. (I just listened to the audio).. The tutor seems knowledgable.. however.. I found some of the content to be unplanned & slightly rambling in nature. £21.00 seems rather expensive for this level of tutorial.

If you are looking in this course for revolutionary innovations for blogging you will be disapointed. But - after getting used to the voice of the author - you'll receive a wealth of useful and valuable suggestions on how to get to blog topics, and very useful tips how to write articles for a successful blog.

The information in this course seems very useful for writing blog posts. I now have an effective way attract readers, a formula to create blog post titles, a list of ideas to help me keep my blog visitors coming back after I have attracted them, and I now have a process I can follow to come up with blog post topics and ideas. I learned about several popular blog post types and how to write them, and about 3 special writing methods and how to implement them when writing a post for my blog, as well as a super simple technique to outsmart procrastination. This course is exactly what i needed to get my blog post writing underway. I will be trying these techniques today!

Perhaps this course will be kind of okay for some beginers (like no-idea-never-written-anything begginer). Although the instructor teaches how to write blog-posts, he doesn't actually shows us any of his blogs or some real-life examples of his work. To me that is important in order to know I am learning from someone who has real experience (not saying he doesn't have any, just saying he doesn't show us any). Also, I really appreciate the format of the lectures, and like to see some powerful visual aids. To me, showing a mind map with a bunch of text is not enough. What I did like about the course was that he provides some good resources useful for those of us who are already writing blogs and need fresh ideas on where to get some content.
