Yes, it was a good match for me. I'm prone to ruminating in the past and worrying about the future; this course taught me how to refocus on the present through mindfulness in order to stop ruminating and worrying.

Mindfulness encompasses a lot of mental and emotional well-being (at least the way it's generally used in context) so whether it's in relation to work or personal everyday life or anywhere it is an incredibly important practice. But where it becomes most useful is when there is a personal investment in being mindful, and being able to apply it on an individual level to be sure your own needs are being met. That is the hardest part as it usually takes unlearning certain ways of thinking and breaking down our own internals, which isn't easy. I think this course did a good job of trying to hit a lot of different bases by making it approachable and relatable to the mass population, and understanding that while there isn't a specific template on how to use mindfulness effectively, there are certain processes that the individual can apply and adjust based on their own needs. I thought it was very effective in that regard.
