I really liked the extra resources and tools provided in the course. I just wish there were more practice on how to build out different sites. Using only the information in this course, most of your sites will look the same. Always, always, play around with the code to see what the builders are fully capable of.

This course adds no value to existing Bootstrap 3 documentation. You just get a person (the instructor) reading it to you and copying the code over to his code editor. Finally, the penultimate lesson actually shows how it all works together, unfortunately, by building an ugly website using mostly pre-generated code. Also, Bootstrap 4 was released in Jan 2018 and Glyphicons are no longer supported.

Till now, you are just showing indirect way to get bootstrap? We here is to learn all about it. Let's see how the further classes will be. It's seem's like promoting their own websites. I feel it personally dude. Any way thanks for it.

When you are looking for a starting point this should be the first class to stop on, very basic and introduces you to all the fun stuff you can do with bootstrap,

This guy is unquestionably good, his English is great and he is rolling all the stones. I have a feeling I will know everything in Bootstrap through him.

Bewertung nach 15 MInuten: Dieser Kurs ist eine prima Grundlage für ein Trinkspiel. Jedes Mal wenn "Bootstrap" gesagt wird, muss ein Spieler einen Kurzen trinken. Dann ist der nächste dran. Aufgrund der Häufigkeit des Wortes "Bootstrap", kann mit bis zu 12 Spielern gespielt werden. Nach 5 Minuten ist das Spiel dann spätestens vorbei - dann sind alle betrunken. Zum Inhalt der ersten 15 Minuten: es werden nur unterschiedliche Editoren und Webseiten gezeigt... Viel verwirrendes Geklicke. Auf Bootstrap wird in der Zeit leider überhaupt nicht eingegangen. Bewertung nach der kompletten Laufzeit: Im Prinzip geht der Author nur die Webseite getbootstrap.com durch und erläutert zu jedem Absatz mehr schlecht als recht einige Punkte. Nichts wird wirklich erklärt, alles nur angerissen. Oftmals kommt der Sprecher durcheinander oder vertippt sich im Source - dann gibt es einen Schnitt und wie von Geisterhand ist alles wieder richtig, aber der Zuschauer wird allein gelassen. Im Hintergrund schreit ein Kind - Schnitt - und weiter gehts. Vergessen was man sagen wollte - Schnitt. Zu Bootstrap: Am liebsten hat der Author seine ganzen kleinen Helferlein Programme und Webseiten. Bestimmt ganz hilfreich, aber ständig auf Drittanbieter zurückgreifen? Da stimmt doch dann irgendwas mit dem Framework nicht. Tausende von Zeilen Code werden hier aus Libraries inkludiert - wird alles einfach blind übernommen. Mich hat Bootstrap nicht überzeugt. Die Seiten sehen alle ähnlich aus und die magische Anpassung an die unterschiedlichen Auflösungen sieht auch nicht wirklich gut aus. Das einfache Skalieren, Ein- und Ausblenden oder Verschieben von Inhalten sorgt dafür, dass es unter allen Auflösungen schlecht aussieht. Dann doch vielleicht lieber zweimal entwickeln.. einmal für Desktop und einmal für Mobil. Nur dann sind beide Lösungen wirklich optimal und nicht von Kompromissen durchsetzt. Fazit: Insgesamt viel zu wenig Tiefe, viel zu häufig des Wort "Bootstrap" und relativ schlecht vorbereitet (häufige Fehler, schwarzer Mauspfeil auf schwarzem Hintergrund, Hintergrundgeräusche, monotones Erzählen). Leider ein typisches Beispiel für die Qualität der "Lehr"-Videos bei udemy. :(

Nice overview of Bootstrap and how to work with it. Sometimes the videos were too long for me when it was about going through Bootstrap websites, but lector is quite enthusiastic (good) and I got also infected. Last detail - maybe PDF is not good for sharing code, especially when it is longer then one page. To sum up - good course for begginers, nice overview of Bootstrap and lots of usefull tools and links.

I didn't really know about bootstrap other than hearing it mentioned here and there, coming into this course. Before the end of the course I had two websites built using it. The instructor is very thorough and provides great course materials. If your looking for a course to learn to code and understand bootstrap, I highly recommend you start here.
