Not at all what people mean by widgets. Not what I was looking to learn. Widgets are usually small UI components showing previews or snippets of app data to the user while they are on a home screen or widget screen.

I thought this course teaches how to build an android widget like the title. It just teaches how to use basic android VIEW. Such a waste of time and money.

It is interesting to review some android widgets. Also it must to know that Google is relocating android widgets in androidx library (androidx.appcompat.widget).
