Course Description
In this course you will learn about Python, Fast API, SQLAlchemy, JWT, Heroku and using different databases like SQL Lite, MySQL, PostgresQL with SQLAlchemy. We will commit the code to Github and will then deploy the API to cloud server.
Along the way we will also learn the basics of Python which is needed for this course.
We will build a complete real world application use case by developing the all the API's using FAST API python framework, along the way we will learn the details of Fast API framework and also compare it with other API development Frameworks.
We will learn to handle errors and exceptions and how to perform validation.
We learn then learn the basics of Authentication, Authorization and concept of JWT and then go ahead to secure our API's with JWT(Json Web Token) and OAuth2.
We will build multiple database entities and learn to develop relationships between different models using multiple databases like SQL Lite, MySQL, PostgreSQL and SQLAlchemy library.
We will also learn how to setup the database configuration and also how to use the database explorer to visualize our data inside the database.
Next we will move on to defining different schemas with the help of Pydantic library. We will see how to convert data between models and schemas.
We will learn how to secure an API endpoint behind JWT authentication.
We will learn to use OpenAPI/Swagger docs with FastAPI to test our application.
We will then go ahead and enable CORS on our APIs.
We will learn to commit our code to Github.
Finally we will deploy our Application on cloud server.

Is a good start if you have some previous experience in web applications, but i do not recommended if you a beginner. Need to explain more in details what line do.

I don't know why there is so many 5 stars, I could have just gotten the source code and learned as much from there. The teacher doesn't explain anything. Anyway, I now have an example on which I can rely on.

The lessons where not very well explained as to why we were doing something. There were no supporting code files or links to resources in the sections. I would not recommend this for anyone without having python knowledge first. I found myself making mistakes and using the web to figure out where code was going wrong. The course is also out of date in using older SQLAlchemy code. In the end the instructor is very knowledgeable but unfortunately this is more a what to do course and not well rounded with explaining the structure of the code and design decisions. In a way I am glad I took this course because the lack of detail forced me to fill in the gaps and find my own solutions to the errors encountered.

it's a good attempt but i am expecting more detailed and structured video looking for fastapi

I love the speed, it would be great if it was broken into smaller implementations to make sure code works, for beginners, but for a more experienced developer it works perfectly.

Ranjan takes a step by step approach and does an excellent job of explaining both the how to and the why we are doing each step. The lessons are short and manageable making it easy for you to jump in and out if you need to multitask or retrace particular steps. The one

I have found it quite useful. I recommend adding English subtitles.

Excellent, this is exactly what I needed fro my new work project, could you also please create a course for integrating it with frontend Reactjs or Angular and deploy to a live server. It will be a great help for my project. Thank you.
