Business Analysis: Working with Use Cases (Udemy.com)

Course starts well. However in the end I miss several topics. It is very much limited to a ICT system with very basic use cases as a human actor 'Entering a order'. What if the system is automated machinery, actors are other systems or sensors triggered by goods that pass by etc? I would have liked to see more examples of technical automation. Further if I check the Q&A, almost all of them remain unanswered. No activity from the creator of the course.

The real-world scenarios and practical tips shared during the training truly helped me understand how things work and what to keep in mind as I move forward in my journey as a novice BA .. Thank you for such an insightful experience!

excellent presentation, funny and instructive. I had some problems at one of the assignments, where I did not get it that I need to provide the alternate and exception flows besides the basic one. But that was learner's mistake.

The course is well structured and has a good balance of practice and theory. I would have liked the final scenario to be more practical than it was though. The negative points: the training is not being updated and maintained anymore, and the teacher is not answering questions since long ago.

The course, the performance, the way each and every subject are developed and described, is simple and clear. I've never seen a performance like this ever before. Nobody has ever showed the relationship between the activities descriptions, flowcharts, story users and use cases. Some other courses use long terminology, technical words and unrelated examples that only confuse students. Thanks and congrats.

I have applied the course material to my current project. I work in an Agile environment and found the application of uses cases gives a clear starting point when first looking at processes. We use BPMN and UML has been seen as old fashioned. I have shared with my team that use cases give clarity up front and complement BPMN. The course is clear and easy to follow. I would recommend this course to any BA.

Great course!! I've made many BA and agil courses, but the scenario example with Brenda was really helpful, I enjoyed it because it is what it's going to be my day-to-day work. I would like to have more scenarios like those. Where I can find them? If you are newbie in this BA IT world, the scenarios are great info which we could use when the moment of truth comes and we have to do it in real life.

In my opinion it is a very good course giving many examples how to create and work with use cases. What is beneficial is presented scenario. We can observe step by step how BA is creating use cases and flows. Many practical advices are very useful

This is the first Udemy course I have taken and it was outstanding and well worth the money. I feel like I got great overview of use cases as well as practical hands on knowledge. I have some other book sources I am getting ready to use and I am anxious to see how Don's approach compares with other experts.
