Course Description

With a programming based approach, this course is designed to give you a solid foundation in the most useful aspects of Image Processing in an engaging and easy to follow way. The goal of this course is to present practical techniques while avoiding  obstacles of abstract mathematical theories. To achieve this goal, the image processing techniques are explained in plain language, not simply proven to be true through mathematical derivations.

Still keeping it simple, this course comes in different programming languages so that students can put the techniques to practice using a programming language of their choice. This version of the course uses the C programming language.

By the end of the course you should be able to develop the 2-D Discrete Convolution algorithm in C, develop Edge-Detection Algorithms in C, develop Spatial Filtering Algorithms in C, compute an Image Histogram and Equalize it in C, to develop Gray Level Transformation Algorithms, suppress noise in images, understand all about operators such as Laplacian, Sobel, Prewitt, Robinson, even give a lecture on image processing and so much more. Please take a look at the full course curriculum.

REMEMBER : I have no doubt you will love this course. Also it comes with a  FULL money back guarantee for 30 days!  So put simply, you really have nothing to loose and everything to gain.

This course was wonderful for beginner, it clears the concept with detailed and clear instructions. Recourses are also helpful. Tutor is also wonderful.

The lecture is detailed, the basics for image processing is clearly explained. If you want to dive in image processing, the right way to start here. It gives you a good basics you will be able to start reading a detailed professional book....

Overall good. Just few suggestions. Comments are missing in code. Theory slides could have been better. Some embedded part would be great with c and images.

The Tutor made a good explanation of all the conceptual elements for Image processing, thereby making the video series easy to understand before the video proceeds to the programming stage. This is very commendable

As an enginner with good proficiency in C language who desires to learn Digital Image Processing(DIP) this was a very good course to illustrate main concepts in DIP. A general background on this subject may help to understand some of the coding examples. Sometimes the code was a bit confuse but still understandable. Indeed this is not a course on C language or C coding style and that is Ok. But subtitles were very bad.. So, 4.5 stars.

The presented content was good, but vital details were missing. Coding lessons were presented before the mathematical principles of the function being coded were explained. The course finished with an interesting section on delta functions but never explained their application for image processing.

I get much valuable information from the course. But while the code works (most of the time) the style, formatting, indentation, pointer casting and access could've been written in a better way. Also this code `(int)(255*sum+0.5)` from HistogramEqualization took me hours to understand. People who don't know math behind the hist equalization process and how int casting works in C will never get this line.

As a moderately experienced C programmer I felt I learned some useful concepts in image processing but very bad tips for C specific coding for the subject. His choices for code structure often seemed really bizarre and confusing. Explanations on the algorithms used were almost nonexistent apart from very abstract and unhelpful lecture videos. Lots of repeated code that didn't need to be shown typed. Ironically, he states in the videos to ask questions for help but does not reply to many of them. Overall I used this more as a reference rather than a class. Would not recommend for good practices in C coding but did get some useful concepts.

So far everything is really clear. Love the course so far. I'm not at all very skilled in C, but I manage to follow.

By Fiodorr on 2/18/2019

Excellent course, well made. There is hardly any material as good as this on the web about image processing using c language. I will surely be revisiting this course.
