Calculus 3 with the Math Sorcerer (Udemy.com)

I have done some study on vectors and tensors, so this is good revision. What I did not realise was that by working out the components, we have moved the vector to standard position. A good learning experience!

Most textbooks of calculus 3 do a pedagogically poor job laying out complex ideas, but this course helped me much more than I'd expected.What really makes this course stand out is that it takes a problem-based approach.It's more computational than it is conceptual, which doesn't intimidate laypersons that much.I think the course's overall purpose would be serving as a supplemental material for your textbook, so combining with a more theoretical course/book you can get a more thorough grip of calc3.

I've purchased several courses from the Math Sorcerer, and every one of them has been incredible. I am an aerospace engineering major, and I couldn't have gotten through the math without him!

Videos have been super helpful and straight to the point. I am enjoying this course so far and loving the format. It has definitely helped me with my college Calculus 3 course. I would recommend it to anyone trying to succeed in taking this class!

I desperately needed more worked examples to complement the Calculus 3 course I was taking in college. This provides examples in ample supply. Not every topic is covered that my college course does, and sometimes the Sorcerer covered more than my college. Most noticeable was that the course is a little light on vector calculus material. The most important thing though is that the instructor is clear and precise. His repetition and clear writing gives a gentle introduction to the subjects. However, the course won't give you the most difficult problems. I highly recommend that you use this course to preview topics and get a handle the mechanics of solving problems, before cracking a book to both get deeper into the theory and hunt for the more difficult examples.

Good method of teaching by short yet deep theory videos, and then repeat and repeat short exercises in order to learn the material in an intuitive way.

Está muy bien, pero me lo esperaba de un nivel más alto. Tengo malas sensaciones pero porque lo que he hecho ya sabía hacerlo, y lo que no, le falta teoría para entender qué se está haciendo, algo muy básico en matemáticas. 10/10 en cantidad de ejemplos, 5/10 en calidad de teoría. Se compensa si lees un libro de análisis de varias variables avanzado

Es importante comprender que es un curso distinto, bien explicado, pero en videos cortos, fuertemente orientado a la práctica, ideal para introducirse en el tema y luego ir a los libros.

I like that the math sorcerer works through examples for each definition, which is more applicable and practical for learning (especially for uni). The math sorcerer also explains the need-to-knows really well.

This course breaks down ever single component step-by-step. I am a college student Calculus 3 before class starts for me and I will feel a lot more confident after doing this online course.
