Great course. I learnt a ton of things that I always wanted to learn. I have been learning from books on cartooning, but always these books missed the rendering part. Which I think is very important to feel the completed look. Thank you!

Good course. While the inscape functions are taught on how to use them in different ways, there are other tools in Inkscape that makes the same work easier in some situations. Overall, the course gives you a practical experience on a whole picture rather than just teaching the different inscape functions with random drawings. The course gives the feeling of purpose of different functions.

This is a great course with lots of helpful tips for people new to drawing and vector software. First everything is explained in detail about how each process works, and then there are real time videos of each character being drawn so you can watch each one being created using the processes you just learned.

English: A lot of character drawing courses are similar to "instructions on how to draw an owl": 1)Draw a circle 2)Then draw the second circle 3)Then finish them up to the owl. Maybe these are elementary things for the creators of such courses, but for us, beginners, this is just a stumbling block. But this Martin course is an exception. It is clear that he has come a long way and earned his knowledge with sweat and blood. The main advantages of his course: clear, and to the point. Nothing superfluous. I also liked how deeply Martin knows the subtleties of Inkscape. I learned a lot of interesting techniques that will be useful not only in Inkscape, but also in most vector editors. I also note that it's even good that Martin is not a native English speaker. He does not use idioms and phrases characteristic of English-speaking countries, but speaks, so to speak, in universal English. ;) I have never needed a dictionary or online translator. ;) I highly recommend the course to anyone who wants to learn how to draw cartoon characters in vector. Может, для создателей таких курсов это элементарные вещи, но для нас, начинающих, это как раз камень преткновения. Но вот этот курс Мартина - исключение. Видно, что он прошел долгий путь и заработал свои знания потом и кровью. Главные достоинства его курса: четко, понятно, и по делу. Ничего лишнего. Также мне понравилось то, насколько глубоко Мартин знает тонкости Inkscape. Я узнал много интересных приемов, которые пригодятся не только в Inkscape но и в большинстве векторных редакторов. Также отмечу, что это даже хорошо, что Мартин - не носитель английского языка. Он не употребляет идиом и оборотов, характерных для англоязычных стран, а говорит, если так можно выразиться, на общечеловеческом английском. Мне ни разу не потребовался словарь. Очень рекомендую курс всем, кто хочет научиться рисовать мультяшных персонажей в векторе. Спасибо тебе, Мартин!

Muito bom o curso. Várias dicas e técnicas muito interessantes. É bom prestar atenção no início quando o instrutor está ensinando as ferramentas, pois depois, na fase final do desenvolvimento dos personagens, o trabalho é feito algumas vezes sem uma explicação detalhada - mas nas lições anteriores você encontrará o passo-a-passo de tudo.

It's exactly what I needed and wanted but sometimes not enough verbal instructions going on. I don't always remember some of the key steps to take and spend extra time on places I have problems with. Extra lines show up at end when using the fill tool and it takes a bit to get it straightened out!

Over all a really good course for learning Inkscape for complete beginners, and how to design characters in modern styles used in animation. Also a good beginner course for people with limited drawing ability as the relatively simple character designs aren't as hard to achieve as they may first appear. The character drawing demonstrations were a little overlong for me but were perhaps the right speed for someone trying to follow along.

I'm really gratefull for this course. In my opinion this is the best Inkscape course. Thank you for your work and passion. If you want start drawing in Inkscape and draw fantastic characters this course is for you :)

I really liked the course. From the laid back foreign voice to focusing only on the tools needed to accomplish the task at hand. Everything was explained well in the beginning, and then we have the opportunity to see the tools used in a real time work flow in the second half of the course. Bravo! Pro's: I got exactly what I expected. I learned how to use Inkscape to create cartoon characters. The instructor successfully conveyed and demonstrated the important elements of character creation using this software and keeping focus only on the tools needed. Con's: There are a few gaps where he is apparently resting or thinking (in silence without any screen motion). There are also no Keyboard Shortcuts displayed on the screen. The instructor occasionally mentions the keyboard shortcuts that he uses, but not often enough for a beginner to truly understand what is going on while watching him work.

I am sure this instructor is very knowledgeable but unfortunately he explains very little. Sometimes minutes go by without peep, that I wonder if the sound is broken. He just goes on and on, shining with his brilliance, without describing what he is doing.
