Our take
Based on the ratings of 1,848 students, a sample of their written reviews and the syllabus, as the course stood in January 2025. No course pays to be reviewed.
This CCNA 200-301 course runs about 25.7 hours across 193 lectures and 37 sections. It starts with the OSI and TCP/IP models, then works through subnetting, OSPF, switching, security, wireless, IPv6 and automation, with extra material on BGP, EIGRP, WAN and VPNs. The pitch is that it shows real routers, switches, firewalls and cables instead of only slides. It is aimed at people studying for the CCNA, and the requirements list only asks for general IT knowledge.
Reviewers keep coming back to the teaching. Marious Kuriata is described as explicit and good at breaking topics down, and one student liked the real examples that range from small office setups to big networks. Others point to the quizzes and the configuration and troubleshooting walkthroughs. The sample has almost no complaints, so the weak spots come from the syllabus instead. Roughly 3 percent of ratings are one or two stars. Empty sections and a leftover 200-125 update block make the order feel patchy.
The last update was January 2025, so it is not brand new, and the title still says 2020. Plan to add your own practice exams, since the data lists no practice tests. For the money, a lot of hours and a lot of real hardware footage is a fair deal, and 12,658 students have enrolled, with a 4.6 rating across 1,848 reviews. It is a solid main video course for visual learners, best paired with a lab tool.
Pros
- Real router, switch, firewall and cabling footage, including making an ethernet cable
- Reviewers say the explanations break topics down clearly and use real examples
- Quizzes close the chapters, so recall gets tested before moving on
- Goes past the exam list with extras like BGP, EIGRP, IP SLA and PPPoE
Cons
- No practice exams listed, so exam-style prep needs another source
- Some sections look leftover, including empty ones and an old 200-125 update block
- Last updated January 2025, and the title still says 2020

I had started this course before back when it was CCENT but i didn't finish it to the CCNA level. Before i distinctly remember this course being much harder it's only now i realized that the course wasn't hard at all it was my lecturer, not that he didn't know his stuff, he did he was very experienced but his teaching skills was off. now that I'm doing this course with Mr. Kuriata it seems much easier his teaching ability in general is flawless.

There are some parts in the coding process of the Cli that is not directly explained but rather done by the teacher. Nothing that 8.8.8.8 can't answer ;) , but just sayin. All good nonetheless.

I took the Network+ course at the Community College and was lost. This helped clear some of the sticking points. The instructor was very informative with his knowledge of the subject and what the exams will cover and what they do not. Real World samples are more of what these courses need. The colleges are behind in technology and I know people who were NOT up to par in the real world when they were done with college classes.

Great course, great teacher, this course helped me to understand better many concepts in networking and gave me the final push to pass my CCNA R&S exam, it also gave me great tips to plan the way to get my current job in a NOC. So I am very grateful to for this course and Marious. I firmly recommend this course and this teacher 100%

Instructor Kuriata is an excellent teacher. A student learns more by doing, and this course has lots of labs that the student can follow along and practice with. No more dull and boring textbooks. Watch it all come to life as Mr. Kuriata explains the technical concepts, and then shows a practical lab to re-inforce what was explained. I am learning a lot, and so can you. Buy this excellent course. Good job, Marious.
By Pawel P on 2/28/2016
Good course but a bit to hectic and the tutor speaks to slow. I have just passed my CCENT/ICND1 and this course helped me to understand certain parts of networking. Marious, do a separate course with Labs in Packet Tracer please. I am sure that all the students would be grateful.
By Jimmy ANTOINE on 3/12/2015
I have recommended all the courses by Marious because instead of just reading Powerpoint slides. Marious uses his own labs and hardware for hands on implementation (i.e., cable types and router models). I have purchased many online courses on Cisco topics including those from Cisco and I can honestly say those from Marious helped me a great deal professionnally.

I am over half way through with this course and I can tell you I am very satisfied. Marious gives great examples and you can tell he is imparting real world wisdom. I have been in IT for for awhile and you know when someone else is coming from the same place. He has also been very responsive to messages/questions which is great. Don't hesitate to take any of his courses. I am also going through his real world CCNA course which is very unique.
