MPLS is one of the topics in the CCNA exam! You need to have a fundamental understanding of MPLS to prepare for your exam. This course explains what MPLS is, how it works and then shows you practically how to configure core MPLS and MPLS L3VPNs.
This course goes deeper to CCNP level to ensure that you are comfortable with both the CCNA exam topics as well as have knowledge for CCNP exams.

If you could put IP addresses of routers on the diagram, it will help follow you much better. When you open your terminal to each router, there isn't any name on the terminal, so if we missed to see on which router you logged in, it's hard to stay focused as we start wondering which router/device you're working on.

As Mr Bombal said a few times in the course, he covered much more than you will need to know for CCNA, which I personally like. It helps to understand the 'why' behind the technologies, which for me is huge to understanding the material. I am way beyond the CCNA level of understand in general, but when I got my CCNA about 20 years ago, MPLS wasn't a thing. Naturally, I have worked with it for many years, but only superficially, typically as a client of an MPLS provider. I am looking to re-certify CCIE, and need to brush up on some technologies that I have not worked directly with. This course was a great way to start the study of MPLS for CCIE.

Take this free course looking to gain more Knowles in MPLS because i already pass the CCNA R&S but i need to land in a network support role at some point and i know MPLS is a big plus to know. Great intro course for MPLS. Only a minor thing to note is he states something to the effect of the Router ID for OSPF being in the VRF. Router ID is a 32 bit number. The Router will choose to use a loopback address to populate the 32 bit number if not manually assigned, but it is not technically an IP Address. You could use 0.0.0.1 for a RID and it would work just fine. However, each OSPF process does need to have its own 32 bit number as he stated. I wish I learned about that RID is just a 32 bit number years ago. For some reason most of the lab and training content chooses to use an IP address which makes people think it has to be an IP for OSPF. Some of the other Routing protocols like BGP it does need to be an IP Address. Great use of GNS3 and packet captures. I liked everything else about it.

I needed some course like that to refresh my knowledge in MPLS. David Bombal always explain it perfectly, i advice all of his videos, tutorials and youtube channel because he interview a lot of people and you can be up to date with the new technology that is coming now. One of the most important course that i have is the Python Programming for Network Engineers. In this case the MPLS for my job is very important and see again this videos help me a lot.

Great help in understanding the MPLS in real world, Being working at customer sites always had an doubt about how does packets move in such huge mpls cloud of a service provider. Hoping some Quality of Service videos from David that could relate more the real world scenarios.

Concetti base spiegati in modo molto comprensivo. Ottimo corso per chi ha poca conoscenza e vuole capire concetti base. Mostra una configurazione base non solo del MPLS al core level ma anche del edge level con configurazione del CPE, PE , OSPF, VRF e BGP
