Thank you David for the course. I did learn a lot about SDN controller and OpenFlow. Technologies are evolving at a fast pace with lot of version upgrade. This is making a drop and addition of features along the way. As a example and what i found, OpenDaylight is not offering DLUX UI in Phosphorus version anymore. Flow and examples in the course are clear and easy to understand. GNS3 is very a nice tool.

This course was a great place to start the SDN journey. It covers the basics and essentials much needed in the SDN world. The course is well organized and flow is maintained. Practical examples shown make the course more easier to understand and see SDN in action. Great course for network engineers to start their SDN quest...

Good stuff once again from Davi B. !! But... I was just getting through the mininet configurations and at the point where thare four switches created. You mention that they are connected in series ("in line" I think you said). That rubs me the wrong way as I have been in the cabling industry forever. Is redundancy not taken into effect in the VM world. I have a lot of learning to do......

I had a very good overview on what SDN is and about the associated terms like Openflow, REST, Northbound, Southbound and controller. It gave me an eye opener to where I should check for more information. Instructor is well informed and his way is really professional and to the point. Thanks David.

This course offers nice descriptions of what SDN is and how to use hp vanSDN, however further explanations from other controllers like floodlight and and practical demonstrations can be add more knowledge to the course

This training seems to be a brief summary of all the other trainings of the trainer. Subject transitions and interconnections sometimes have cuts and clutter.

Everything so far is good but need more details/update as i think video was recorded on 2015 and now its 2018 so most of the time Odl/controller/Vmware not working on GNS3 and it is taking to much time to fix (bug) as we have to look out another website or youtube video to fix the issue

This is very nice intro if you have never heard anything about SDN. Content is nice and clear and well-explained. You can surely learn basics from the course. Cons: - There too many fancy and unnecessary bits and pieces (for instance, drawing animations) that distract rather than help to understand. - Videos and explanations are divided into short fragments without any logic?

After purchasing this course and letting it set in the queue too long I watched it all in one day. It was a perfect introduction to SDN technologies and was at the right level for retention. I feel I now have a great foundation to build upon and FINALLY understand SDN on a much higher level.
