Networks are all around us and you are using one right now to access this course.

Imagine for a moment, how different your life would be without access to Facebook, Snapchat, Google, YouTube, Whatsapp or any of the other websites on the Internet? How would you live with no Internet?

The Internet is extremely important in modern life today and all websites and Internet communication relies on networking. This reliance is only predicted to continue with the growth of the Internet of Things (IoT) in the next few years.

Without routers, switches, network cabling and protocols like BGP there would be no Internet!

This course will teach you how networks actually work and how you are able to connect to websites like Facebook, Google, and YouTube. Companies throughout the world (from the smallest to the largest) rely on networks designed, installed and maintained by networking engineers. Join this in demand industry!

Start your journey today learning about networking.

Content in this course can be used towards your CCNA. Topics such as IP addressing, subnetting and many others can be applied directly to passing your CCNA certification.

Access our online simulations so you can practice on simulated Cisco routers and switches. You will get to type commands such as enable, configure terminal, router ospf and many others and learn how to configure devices.

I want to welcome you to this Cisco CCNA 200-301 course! I'm David Bombal, and I have been teaching networking courses for over 15 years. I qualified as a Cisco Certified Network Engineer (CCIE) in 2003 and hold with numerous other networking certifications. I have designed this course for anyone wanting to learn more about networking and gain foundational knowledge, to help them embark on their networking career. The concepts taught in this course can be applied directly to multiple industry certifications including the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).

In this course, you will learn about topics such as IP addressing, IP subnetting, Routing, Switches, VLANs, Spanning Tree, Network Address Translation, Wireless and a whole lot more.

Bought this course 4 years ago and loved it. For whatever reason I toasted my last account. I cannot believe this course has been kept up to date so well. You'd think one would make these courses then leave them as is, but this course seems to evolve with the times. The video quality and editing that has been done to keep this as interesting as possible is absolutely top notch. I say that as someone who, in the past, had purchased a great deal of courses from this site. Including this course, which has undergone many changes.

Overall I really enjoyed the course and it really helped give me a better understand of networks. I did feel however that some of the content seemed to be out of order compared to what was being talked about.

I love that the instructor repeats certain important points and that just makes them very understandable. Secondly I have gone through another ccna course on udemy which was shorter but i realize alot of info was sacrificed in that course and the learning curve was so big. Here the learning curve has been flattened and for the first time i can actually see how the physical gear, and cables look like. I could only earlier imagine how they look like but the instructor here shows the real gadgets and explains how they work. Priceless!

The course provided both foundational information AND hands on experience with configuring and troubleshooting networks. This is my first course with David Bombal, and my first exposure to using Packet Tracer. David covers a lot of information in this course. I like his style and precision. He gives many examples which made it easy to follow and study. I'm optimistic about being prepared for the CCNA exam. Highly recommended.

David Bombal is absolutely solid with his information. His material definitely over prepares you for the exam, but as they say, it is better to be over-prepared than underprepared. I used his Udemy material last year for the ICND 1 exam, and I wasn't feeling confident about the exam until I went through his ICND 1 course here on Udemy. I passed ICND 1 feeling strong after going through his course. Getting ready to take ICND 2, and I have the same strong feeling now after completing his ICND 2 course! Thanks David!

Learning a great deal, the explanations are awesome. I dislike the non-technical analogies but there are not too many in the ICND2 material. I recommend this course set. I passed the ICND2 on my first try. My study materials were this video course and Boson's practice test generator. I did not read any books.

By Eric Herrington on 6/29/2019

Mr. Bombal typically starts off with an overview and then a deep dive into the theory of the concept to be learned and then applies it in well thought out lab demonstrations with several examples of configurations on multiple devices. The demonstrations include the learner as a participant in the thinking process with questions like "what is wrong with this network?" "Can you see the problem?" on the trouble shooting sections. Mr. Bombal breaks the network demonstrating fail over and debugging and wireshark captures to really see in detail what is going on with the network when a configuration is added or removed. I really appreciate Mr. Bombal's style of presentation, attention to details, repeated examples, thoroughness, and understanding which promotes a practical working knowledge of the theoretical concepts of networking into long term memory. If you simply compare the length of his video series to others you know you are getting in depth content.

I used David's videos and labs for both ICND1 and 2 without reading a single book and earned my CCNA in about 8 months without pressure. You have to listen to the videos multiple times and do the labs multiple times to be sure all the concepts sink in prior to taking the test and you can guarantee a pass.

By Wade Todd on 5/18/2018

I passed my CCNA Certification on May 14th 2018. I used this as my primary studying. I also took the ICND 1 CCENT Certification and passed it on April 2nd 2018. I used a mixture of the course with doing labs to get familiar and memorize command lines that might be asked during the certification exams. I find these 2 courses with the Packet Tracer or replicating the labs via GNS3 will give anyone the ability to pass both certifications. It took 2 months to achieve both certifications and pass both exams on first attempts. I spent about a month per an exam. I'm now working on CCNP certification next, but unfortunately Mr. David has not course that I've been able to find for CCNP. I would take his courses if he has them for CCNP due to how satisfied I am with his teaching methods. I recommend, His course mixed with his packet tracer labs. I would do entire labs then go back to make sure you can do them without watching answer videos. I promise you listen and take in the material with this method. You will be able to pass both ICND 1 (CCENT) & ICND 2 (CCNA) Certification exams. Thanks for the great content Mr. David, if you have CCNP videos, and I've missed them please let me know. Thanks, Wade T.

This course helped me pass the ICND2 exam just as David's 100-105 course helped me pass the ICND1 exam. The concepts are explained in a detailed manner with lots of real world examples that truly illustrate the practical application of these concepts. Thank you again, David for a great course and for my CCNA certification.
