Course Description

This CCNP 350-401 course, is the first step in acquiring your Cisco Professional certification.

This course, will prepare you too successfully navigate the different technologies that you must understand, to achieve this level.

The topics within this course are inline with the Cisco Press book. You must take this course in order, it is important that you do not skip any lecture or lab since it was designed to build upon each skill.

You must learn the foundations in the course before you reach topics such as Policy Base Routing, which works with ACL’s, Prefix-Lists, Distribution-Lists and conditional matching.

One of the most challenging topics in this course is QoS, due to all its terminology but LISP and IGMP do not fall too far behind.

You must stay the course and no matter how many times the lab does not work or you can not answer all the questions, you can’t give in to your frustration.

Acquiring this certification is a tremendous milestone in your Cisco career. In obtaining this certification, you will gain recognition as a professional Network Engineer and you will have the knowledge and hands on experience to back it up.

All said, I wish you a happy journey throughout the course and for you to obtain your certification!

Its straight to the point! Clear and concise!

By Andre Taylor on 4/21/2024

The low/awful audio quality and fumbling of the instructor and wasted time spent discussing how switches learn mac addresses was extremely off putting and made it difficult to want to continue. I will press forward as the explanations provided are detailed, albeit hard to hear.

By James Gorycki on 12/28/2023

A lightbulb went off when you started talking IPv6 summarization. I recall, in the past, a former employer (FAU), working with Florida Lambda Rail (FLR) discussing IPv6 and they would provide us a /48. This was many years ago. You explain it so well!

Another amazing course from Laz about networking. I have taken several of Laz's courses now and his instructor style is great, if you want to learn networking then Laz is the man. For those struggling with audio issues you can download a browser extension to boost your volume and help you hear the course material better.

By Janos Kocka on 7/15/2022

The videos are too long. Not because we get extra information , but because they are poorly edited. There are a lot of idling, failed attempts, forgotten commands, which should have been cut out. A shorter, edited v2.0 would be nice. Some of the topics should be re-recorded with a better planing, scripting.

Laz is hands down best instructor for Cisco on Udemy
