Course Description

Change Management has been a buzzword for decades. And for good reason.
Change is everywhere, whether we like it or not. We need to adapt to it, welcome it, and sometimes even lead it ourselves.

But accepting change is hard. It makes us uncomfortable and anxious. And that's true for leaders just as much as for everyone else on the team !

Here's the thing though. Almost all change comes down to one thing: a change in behaviour, yours or someone else's.

And you cannot change human behavior without first understanding how it actually works !  How people think, judge, decide, and act. Skip that part, and you're left managing change through trial and error, hoping something sticks.

This course exists to close that gap !

We start with the psychology and neuroscience behind why change feels so hard, drawing on research from Daniel Kahneman, Amy Edmondson, Peter Gollwitzer, BJ Fogg, and others.
Then we build that research into a practical, five-part Model : Safety, Clarity, Ownership, Capability, and Reinforcement.
A Modal that you can use to diagnose exactly where a change is stalling, and what to do about it.

Every section comes with real workplace examples, practical tools you can use immediately, and a step by step framework for building your own 30-day action plan, for any change that you are involved in right now.

Change doesn't have to be this hard. Understand the psychology behind it, and it gets a lot easier to lead well.

Enroll now, and let's get into it !

Good for behaviorus science but overall not quite sure if these situations would present themselves and can be applied so fluidly in our work. There were elements of some good theory and the perspective of the neuroscience was interesting. The next few sections were also quite good overall the SCARF model seems good but would need to see how it works in practicality.

One thing I really appreciated about this change management course was the way behavioral psychology was integrated into the learning approach. It was not just about frameworks and models — it focused on understanding how the human brain functions during change, uncertainty, and resistance. The instructor explained that when you understand human behavior, emotions, and motivations, finding the right solution becomes much easier and more sustainable. That perspective made the course very practical and relatable. The course content was beautifully designed, engaging, and insightful. I would highly recommend it to anyone working in change management, leadership, or organizational transformation.

Content topics are really good and easily explained. Also, the way it is structured follows a very nice story line full of evidence. Nevertheless, at moments can be a bit not dynamic enough, and with a very old style layout can result not appealing. Extra material is really good to follow on notes. It would be nice to have it in a nicer format that we could use for our own notes, presentations or refresh. All in all, I could take a lot of great insights for my project, but keeping all those ideas and learnings together would help me more to not lose the momentum :)

Congratulating myself for taking up Udemy and to begin with finding my first course by an amazing and a great teacher. Previous year, my certain decisions were on the foundation of "Some change" itself on account of some new assignments personally while myself into a mix of Creative and IT/Web Design & Development and Solution Architecture fields, and to start with very lucid and interesting course on "Change Management" is a co-incidence itself! Knowledge, research and teaching style of Sivakami S are really commendable, I did not find the course or its curriculum too overwhelming and difficult despite, I could start the course practically 7-8 months after enrolling due to very hectic chores past a year. Course contents and importantly, Sivakami's way and style of teaching, one can't praise more! At some points she brilliantly communicates as a teacher cum a hidden counselor. I still keep revising and revisiting some chapters, not just to recall the study or what I learned, it is because every time it refreshes you. I would surely recommend this course to the beginners, seekers, leaders and those witnessing or anticipating the "dreaded" change either personally or at professional level as a decision maker, as a leader. I thank again Sivakami and wish her the best!

This course was a great combination of science and business. It offered some excellent scientific foundational concepts for why change is difficult in business, and a lot of interesting examples of how the concepts have played out (both in positive and not-ideal ways) in different areas of the world. I would have given 5 stars if there were some interactive exercises where our knowledge could be tested or we could do some thinking/planning around our own change project challenges.

In short - Amazing + Fantablous. It is really well curated & organized course. Kudos to the instructor. Thanks for the great learning. I am unable imagine of any thing better in this time frame...it is made in a very interesting manner & the flow is absolutely natural. Would like to keep in touch with the instructor. Thanks.

Several of the key case studies cited were taken from a single source, Switch, by the Heath Brothers. While there were other items referenced, some of it (like the tangent on asymmetric reproduction, or the multiple introductions) made the course feel unnecessarily padded. There was varying mic quality at points, and a wide variety of clipart and stock video added a disjointed feeling to the proceedings.

I've taken 2 courses from this instructor, and I highly recommend her. She organises information in a clear and concise way, and supports her ideas with references to scientific studies. She is clearly an expert, and truly passionate about sharing her knowledge. I look forward to my next course with her.

A fantastic Course! The Instructor’s delivery is brilliant - she is very engaging, well-paced, informed, and easy to listen to and learn from. (HOWEVER, as a Christian, I DO NOT necessarily accept or believe all the points she made regarding evolution, which people tend to unfortunately present as fact). I thought that I may not find the Course useful and that I would be returning it after listening in to the first few lessons, however, it is definitely a keeper and I learnt so much interesting research data in the very first lessons! A great purchase, with a lot of information and knowledge I can apply in my general life and definitely in my work! Thank you for putting together this content :)

This Change Management course is excellent! The 7-step process provides a clear roadmap for navigating organisational change. It was eye-opening to learn how psychology impacts change and the course does a great job explaining complex ideas in simple terms. I especially appreciated the real-world examples from the the corporate world. The course equips you with practical tools to overcome resistance and drive successful change initiatives. Highly recommended!
