Course Description

There are many different ways that we can influence, and be influenced by, others. In our day to day interactions and judgements. There are many many ways to be manipulated, and to manipulate! And most of it is subconscious, we are not even aware of it!

This Course will deal with some of these ways, and how they can persuade you, and influence your judgements and decisions. These phenomena, from Psychology and Behavioral Economics, are well supported by Research and Studies, some of which you will also learn about ! I will cover an Influence and Persuasion Model, the 7 Principles of Influence and Persuasion.

You will also learn how to make Negotiation a more logical and scientific process, rather than an emotional rollercoaster ! This will be done using a WHAT, WHY, and HOW Model, ending with a Lessons Summary, 8 STEPS to Upgrade your Negotiation Skills.

You will learn about Principled Negotiation strategies, which are useful for rational, win-win negotiations. These are more productive and amicable, than the brutal battleground that negotiation can often be, especially with positional bargaining !

There is plenty of Research on the Psychology of Influence, Persuasion, and Negotiation; Research on how Psychological phenomena can be used to manipulate people's choices and decisions, deliberately or subconsciously.
I will cover these in Separate Sections, one on Negotiation, and another on Influence, and Persuasion.

Knowledge of all this can help people become better aware and use these strategies to improve your Influencing and Negotiation Skills or be better immune to manipulation from others ! It can therefore help you upgrade your Leadership Skills and Management Strategies significantly.

Enroll in this Course and become more Informed and Influential Leaders and Managers !

This has been one of the most practical and engaging courses I've taken on influence and persuasion. I especially appreciate the interactive role plays, which helped me apply the concepts in realistic conversations instead of just learning the theory. As a coach, speaker, and facilitator, I can already see how these principles will help me communicate more effectively, build stronger relationships, and guide others with greater confidence. I highly recommend this course to anyone looking to improve their communication, leadership, sales, or coaching skills. Excellent content and a great learning experience! Thank you! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This was a good course. I am familiar with some of the concepts it introduces like Robert Cialdini's principles of persuasion. If you are familiar with these and/or the Harvard Negotiation Project and findings, this is a good refresher. If you are not, this could be a valuable course for you to take :)

This was very helpful. I took lots of notes. I loved the examples/scenarios, especially the final PIE example. It made the math make a lot more sense to me. Reading materials outlining the products and services offered by EcoEnergy and GreenTech Solutions, would have been helpful for the scenario. I was a little lost on that one.

yeah quite good, information was good, I think the structure was ok but I think more clearly defined sections would have been useful, I was not sure sometimes when one part finished and the next topic began. Some tests would have been good to check knowledge

While a good course, I read Cialdini's book years ago, and found a lot of this course content to be based on his book, with perhaps some additional examples. Still it was a good refresher, good reminder, so it was reasonable use of my time. I did appreciate the open honesty about use of manipulation etc. by the medical/pharma industry and government.

Until this point, everything that was presented as the introduction of the course, the benefits of taking it, the experience and qualification of the creator and presenter of the training and the simple example that was shared increased my interest in the training even more.

Yes. Very good. One should cool while negotiate with others while presenting matched content while know before their agenda while giving equally preference. Need to listen properly what I understand and need to control emotions while not only listens the bias.

Using case studies add a lot of value to the content. Matter was interesting although many of the biases discussed i had already learnt from one of your earlier course. Nonetheless, the learning was good.

Surely learnt a lot from this course. Being into Retail of OLX-Cash My Car. Negotiation is a part of daily routine. Would love to use certain strategies learnt from this course while negotiating with the customers once we get operational post Lock-down.

I really liked the examples Sivakami provided. They helped to expand your understanding and in oder so expand the awareness of already existing studies. The talking speed was slow and therefore very good understandable. Sometimes the music in the back was disturbing. Maybe the design of the slides could be more up-to-date (modern). But overall, I learnt a lot and took a lot of notes. I would recommend it to everyone interessed in negotiations or about to enter one.
