I've learned some new things, but some I know as an experienced journalist.

I need a solid, structured approach to editing and proofing when I work. The sections on breaking the article up into a few categories and then using these categories to organize the points throughout the article were very helpful, as well as the information about using transitional sentences to create "flow."

I think so! I'll let you know later.

This is an absolutely must-have course for any writer or editor seeking to acquire critically important knowledge regarding the professional editing of any written piece.
I first bought this course almost two years ago to help me better understand how to edit a couple of small books which I was asked to edit. I was shocked at how little I actually knew and how much I had been missing even though I considered myself quite capable beforehand.
So, I got halfway through the course and was able to complete the two book edits for which I was given the highest of praise. Now I am writing and editing another book, so I thought I'd come back to review (and finish) what I'd started previously. I must say that the last part of the course was probably better (and more valuable) than the first.
In a word,- I would have to say that this course is "Brilliant" and that Shani Raja is a truly excellent teacher and evidently an esteemed professional editor from whom I have learned volumes!
This is a course I will revisit many times over just to keep on form. If you're serious about writing and editing then you simply must get this course. I am so glad that have now completed the course and that Im well on my way to becoming an "Elite" editor.
Thank you, Shani Raja. You are a gentleman and a scholar sir!

It was a good match and will provide me with job - relevant skills and knowledge.

I'm really enjoying this. I discovered I've pretty much been using a good part of this process myself (which I worked out the hard way). This has given me an official process with more structure, terminology and description to what I was doing, oh and a few more excellent tips I hadn't thought of. I feel so much better that I've been going about my writing and editing using an official professional process: now I can go about it more optimally with greater assurance and confidence. So yes - thank-you Sanji, this skill is seriously going to assist me in the final edit of my book, and, I can also look for more work using it. Great stuff - thank-you :)
