The instructor is very knowledgeable and has a great personality. He presents the information in an enjoyable and easily consumable format. He provides an overview of ChatGPT and then several insights into prompt formats and strategies; interfaces with other AI tools (video, etc), and real-life usage. Along the way he shows plenty of examples. Finally he wraps up by comparing AI platforms (ChatGPT, Bing, BARD). As of September 2024 he has updated the course by adding two sections (20 & 21). Unfortunately, this means that lessons 147/148 (Section 19) are repeated as lessons 165/166 (Section 21). He should go back and remove lessons 147/148. Nevertheless, this is a great overview of ChatGPT and I highly recommend the course.

The course is great but is also very long. There are many repetitions. The course needs to get streamline. I really like the use of CHATGPT for business writing, so I liked the business writing session and the project management session as well as Prompt Engineering. A lot of good stuff but not well organized. Very good recommendation for students and plagiarism.

I find a lot of this similar in every section. It’s just a comment really so the course could cross reference to other sections that you have learnt making it a much more focused course. It would help,if the websites mentioned were explored in more depth like it’s great to create a presentation but how do you down list this to your system for use? It doesn’t say how to do this and that would be useful. Overall I like the teaching method and the instructor he is very good. He goes a little too fast sometimes when explaining things but that doesn’t disappoint or distract from the course completely.

Much of the course was useful to a novice A.I. person like me and a great deal of it involved areas I simply will not use...but might at some future time. I may have to return and review some areas. I also found the instructions on Google Bard and Bing A.I. to be both useful and unexpected.

Good tour of ChatGPT and good introduction to the technology. This provided very good examples that are key to reinforcing key concepts. I find all of Steve's course a positive learning experience due to his clear explanations and engaging teaching style.

It a thorough exploration of the ways to use chatGPT. I think there is room to improve in terms of aggregating the prompts, like having a review card or something would be helpful, but it is covered in the video series. I've a few sections left to go, but definitely worth the run through so far even though for me it's a review of what I already know. the content later on Bard will be now, so I'm still looking forward to that.

This course is very comprehensive. While at first, I thought ChatGPT was more like a glorified search engine, I've learned this is a very useful tool for writing, compiling information, and much more. The instructor talks about the various uses for ChatGPT in the workplace, such as composing business correspondence, as well as practical applications for everyday life, from creative writing to video editing. Mr. Ballinger also discusses other similar AI applications like Microsoft Bing Chat (powered by ChatGPT), Bing Image Creator, and Google Bard. He provides online writing tools that anyone may find useful, such as Quillbot and AI detection software.

It's pretty good. His voice sometimes annoys me, and there's content I don't care about. Sometimes he talks too much, so I skip parts, and sometimes I'd like to see his whole chat, or at least some content he skipped over quickly.

The course gives a lot of practical examples on how to use ChatGPT. It doesn't explain the engineering of a prompt from the more technical point of view. Generally, it's useful, inspiring and the teacher is also entertaining, so I can recommend it.
