Ave G. Bengdaen - "The topics are on point and catered to passing the new CCNA"
Abdirahman - "Matt has been like no other I really enjoyed throughout the course and ordered his book CCNA quick guide reference, and I will say it is been a pleasure to have you as an instructor."
Dean Smith - "The instructor is very engaging and interesting. I have watched multiple videos on CCNA courses via youtube or online or other udemy courses BUT this course is just brilliant, explained back to basics networking and as i, just like many other people, absolutley love explanations/diagrams or animation type presentations. Its sooooo easy to absorb this information as its taught so well! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!"
Timothy Keith - "Hands down, this is the best CCNA course I've taken thus far. The use of packet tracer to build out the network while walking through the lecture is genius! Not only do I greater understanding of the physical and logical networks, I can now deploy packet tracer devices I was unfamiliar with. Thank you!"

I have been addicted to networking ever since the first time I heard about the CCNA certification. I remember hearing everyone say how big of a deal it was, which made me want it more than anything. I was climbing towers for a living at the time in sub zero temperatures. All I could think about was how getting my CCNA certification could be a way to a better opportunity. I told myself that one day I would be CCNA certified. After a lot of studying and time in the lab.....I passed! Now I am a Systems Engineer and all I do is networking. Every time I pass a cell tower I think about how much the CCNA has changed my life and I am grateful.
I decided to become a CCNA instructor during my path to the CCNA certification. While I tried different courses with terrible instructors...I thought about how I wished I could teach students a better way. Now with Udemy, I can.

All of them take too long and this is the shortest one.

Love this course, a smooth and slow process where I can follow, and of course, there is always the replay button. I have knowledge of how the bnetwork works together, but I don't see how they communicate as a whole.

This was a fantastic CCNA course that I really needed when I needed it. My previous instructor was very disorganized when it came to presenting information and there were some concepts that he simply explained wrong (it led me to getting wrong answers). Frankly, I regret doing his lab work. But Matt did a great job. This Lab focused course showed me how to create and secure a network with great efficiency. Concepts were introduced when needed and without excess. He seemed organized and masterful stacked each lesson on the foundation of the previous one. And all concepts were given a practical application sooner rather than later, which really helped the learning process. Unlike the last guy, I actually feel like I can network now. Thanks to Matt, I have a topology built from the ground up to prove it. It would've been nice if his slide show presentations were ordered at the start of the section (for the record, a few were). That way we could be exposed to the theory of the material before its application. This is opposed to being exposed to the theory and the practice at the same time. The material is quality, I just think a tiny switch in order would help the delivery even more. Expose the whole section, and then apply each component module by module. I'm sure I'll be ready to take the CCNA after taking more time to memorize. This was a great course, and I highly recommend it.

This is the first Udemy course I used for the CCNA. If you're like me, you want to follow along with packet tracer while watching the lectures. This worked great until the lecture on IPv6. The code in the video doesn't function properly. I personally spent 5 hours troubleshooting only to discover in the course questions that this malfunction was detected 4 years ago. It's upsetting that it hasn't been replaced with an updated IPv6 lecture with working code. A simple warning at the beginning of the lecture - "The code in this segment doesn't function properly. Watch, but do not use the Command Line Interface." - would've sufficed. Speaking of the CLI - The instructor is very comfortable with it. There are times when he says - "All you have to do is... " - followed by silence as he rapidly types commands. If you're following along, be prepared for a lot of pausing and rewinding of the material. The instructor shares the final topography at the end of the course, but it would be great if there was an addendum with the codes used in an outline format. Example : Router One enable show ip interface brief conf t interface g1/0/1 exit etc.. etc.. etc.. I will not say that this course was a waste of time or money. I learned a lot, but I currently don't have anything else to compare it to. It's good to hear about an IP route, what it does and then applying it to a router or switch and then being able to ping the devices to verify the setup worked. Ahh.. verifying that the setup works.. I wish he helped with troubleshooting and showed the final configuration of the devices afterwards. Take a minute to say - "This is how your configuration screen should look... but if it doesn't match this screen - double check the settings for Vlan 12 or make sure that you didn't mix 10.0.255.1 with 10.0.255.2 " ... Overall - Again, I learned a lot.. Not a waste of time or money, but just a few improvements could turn this from good to great.

Good material and very knowledgeable instructor but seems a bit rushed and hard for me to keep up especially with the demos. Will be good if the instructor can assume that the students are completely unfamiliar with the concepts and may come from an international non-english background, hence a need to go slow and be deliberate about explaining things. Also more practice tests to reinforce concepts taught as the course progresses.
