I have been addicted to networking ever since the first time I heard about the CCNA certification. I remember hearing everyone say how big of a deal it was, which made me want it more than anything. I was climbing towers for a living at the time in sub zero temperatures. All I could think about was how getting my CCNA certification could be a way to a better opportunity. I told myself that one day I would be CCNA certified. After a lot of studying and time in the lab.....I passed! Now I am a Systems Engineer and all I do is networking. Every time I pass a cell tower I think about how much the CCNA has changed my life and I am grateful.
I decided to become a CCNA instructor during my path to the CCNA certification. While I tried different courses with terrible instructors...I thought about how I wished I could teach students a better way. Now with Udemy, I can.

The course was great about covering the basics of network security. However, I think Cisco recently changed the Exam about 2 years ago and the material shown was specific to an earlier version of the exam instead of being relevant to the current one.

this is a good course, but I expect something more than I found for example, the VPN explanation is fast, overall this is good course to start in security but you should know a basic security and good network before start it

Very comprehensive. However it was lots of materials that went thru at a very fast pace. If I did not have hand on lab experience, in addition to using packet tracer, of configuring router interfaces, NAT, RIP, EIGRP & OSPF routing protocol, etc, this lecture might as well have been in Chinese or greek. So if you have not had experience with configuring router with CLI, then this might be very frustrating, and not comprehensive, course. As he move very fast on the LAB lecture.

Very concise and technical. Awesome. But would be so much more helpful if there was more theory behind the commands, for a better sense of holistic understanding. But still awesome though, don't forget that! :) Hope I pass

Excellent Course Refresher, Must absolutely watch before taking the exam. What I find personally really amazing, are the drawings, they make the concept easy to grasp quickly without headache! As someone says, a picture worth thousands of words, well this is the case here. You don't want to miss this course! Thank you Man! On top of it he is very responsive and learners friendly when you make a request .

The course was very helpful and easy to follow along with. It was a good refresher for me and I'll be watching it again before I go and take the exam. I also appreciate the coupon codes provided. They will help out.

I would have liked more detail in the sections covering more content but I've been in this game long enough to know to always use multiple sources anyway. Overall I have really found this course helpful and enjoyable as a first overview of all course objectives. Would recommend.

Excellent course!!! Thanks Matt for this course. My only concern is that Matt is a little fast in his explanation, maybe he will need to slow down and take more time explaining some of the concepts. Besides that i think is a great course to prepare for the CCNA Security exam.

This course is very easy to follow. The instructor is easy to understand. He follows his outline well and goes into just enough detail to learn the content, but not too much as to overload you with information.
