Pretty good course !
I like the content and the way Thor explain each topic.

By Christian Sherwood on 11/15/2020

content narration switches halfway through from slow and clear speaking to faster/less clear
some material is slightly outdated such as SSL vs TLS usage

By Tony Thomas on 11/15/2020

I was having the hardest times finding a rhythm on studying for Domain 3 & 4; Thor's videos + resources helped me be able to break down the sections to learn it at my own pace. So far, I've going through Domain 1, 2, 3, & 4.. but I have confidence that it'll get better as I go along with Domain 5-6, 7-8 which I've already purchased.

By Janette Davis on 11/15/2020

Yes, course content great match. Some chapters the recording is too fast and slowing down one level is too slow. Printing the lecture notes - because it is a power-point print out, there is a lot of extra printed because of the slide titling, also making it somewhat difficult to follow.

UPDATE: Domain 4 is presented in a fantastic way - interesting, engaging, and it's a pleasure to hear the author talking about networking, I was enjoying my time.
Following review is still valid but addresses only Domain 3:
I would say the content of the slides is "decent", it is just as boring as the CISSP book, but I understand the author cannot turn boring CISSP content into something interesting. But the main problem I have with the course is the pronunciation, the way the author talks - it sounds like a computer-generated, random compilation of words and I cannot focus on anything as I am trying to understand what I just heard. If you have seen Die Hard 4 movie, the course is done in the same way as the "Presidential Montage" - sounds like a conglomerate of random words. I am after few hours of the course right now and every day after 20secs of the course I'm fighting not to fall asleep or go back to reading the CISSP book instead - because of the way the author talks. Smaller issues I have: sometimes there is something "abstract" on the CISSP exam like "system high mode" that you need to learn - the course is just repeating the definition from the book without trying to explain what it is in real life, I think it would be easier to learn the exam material when you can actually have some point of reference in real life.
From the positives: I like the "elephant" solution in the course, I like when the author stops reading the slides and says something you can use on the exam like "no need to learn every little thing", and I believe the content of the slides is enough to pass the exam.

I started this course just because I heard that Thor breaks down the material better than anyone else, and I have to say I agree. After signing up for the course I found out that Thor is really interactive on social media and answers questions happily. If that isn't enough, I'm not sure what else would sell you on purchasing this product.
