What our other students are saying about our "CISSP practice questions #1" Course:
I passed the CISSP with the ISC Book and Thor's lectures and practice questions. Enough said! (Warren, 5-stars)
Hi Thor, I used your test and videos and passed the exam at first attempt. I scored your tests above 75% and real test was bit challenging than them. Thank you Shan (Shan, 5-stars)
I just passed my CISSP and used your question banks for study. All domains were covered and explanations on the questions were through. (John, 5-stars)
Of all the practice tests have paid for this one is the most helpful because it gave precise results so I am able to focus on the week points. I also appreciate how quickly Thor updated the test to reflect the new CAT style exam. (Kim, 5-stars)
This is my third course experience and Thor is my third instructor. I gave Thor a 5-star because of his knowledge, his grasp of English language, and his attitude. I love how Thor can explain complicated concepts clearly and make them easy to understand. I love how humble and polite his attitude is. I also like the fact that he is attentive and responsive to my questions. (Jin, 5-stars)
At the end of each test, you will get an explanation for each question, explaining why the right answer is the right answer.
You can see the total percentage score for the entire test as well as a weighted percent score for each of the 8 CISSP domains.
You can review each question and sort them by CISSP knowledge area, correct answers, wrong answers, skipped questions and questions marked for review.
The questions on these tests have the same domain weight as the real CISSP exam does .
Security and Risk Management – 20 questions per test (40 total).
Asset Security – 13 questions per test (26 total).
Security Engineering – 15 questions per test (30 total).
Communications and Network Security – 15 questions per test (30 total).
Identity and Access Management (IAM) – 16 questions per test (32 total).
Security Assessment and Testing – 14 questions per test (28 total).
Security Operations – 20 questions per test (40 total).
Software Development Security – 12 questions per test (24 total).
Do multiple CISSP certification practice tests like this one, do the full 3 hours and 100-150 questions to see how you handle it, this is as much mental stamina and reading the questions right, and answering from an IT Security managers point of view, as it is the actual knowledge.
Many students do 3,000 – 5,000 CISSP certification practice questions, when I did my CISSP certification I was around the 3,500 mark .
You can take this CISSP certification practice test as many times as you want, the questions and the answer order is randomized. I would suggest 80%+ of right answers consistently on all CISSP domains using multiple practice tests before booking the exam.
Prepare for the 2026 version of the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certification Exam.

Some of the questions, their answers, and explanations doesn't make any sense. Most of the questions are great but instead of having me think like what ISC2 wants me to think, the quiz is forcing me to towards what ThorTeaches.com wants me to think. I am pretty sure the CISSP exam doesn't give questions like "which encryption is best?" - and provide options to select from a mix of symmetric and asymmetric algorithms.

This was my first time taking a CISSP practice exam. While I got a 70 with no studying, the real value for me was in seeing the kinds of questions and the expectations for the knowledge required along with the areas where my knowledge was a bit lacking. It provided what I believe will be a good understanding (and reminder) of how to evaluate ALL of the choices given (a good all-around test taking skill).

Thor does an awesome job at covering the 8 domains in the CISSP. His quick sheets and study guides were also an invaluable asset during my time preparing for this gauntlet of a test. I bought a bogo voucher for the CISSP and with Thor's knowledge and experience I was sure to never run "Out Of Mana" during my second attempt which resulted in a pass! 10/10

Maybe I missed the point of these questions, maybe the purpose is to "overprepare you" so the CISSP exam itself is then less challenging, but still... In my opinion, some questions are either way too obscure or poorly worded/too vague, so answering some of the questions becomes an exercise in frustration. Also, it is not acceptable that for some of the questions that are supposedly EASY and MEDIUM in difficulty it's not even possible to find key words in 3 best selling CISSP preparation books (Chapple's Official Study Guide 9th ed, Shon Harris' Exam Guide 8th ed, and even Official CISSP CBK). Still, I do think it's a good preparation tool, but it could be better.

Thor's videos, his pdf printouts and his question bundles were my primary source of knowledge/study for the exam which I have just passed. Contact through discord was great. Of course I supplemented hist materials with one other complete video and ISC2 questions bank

Generally to his regular standard. Just 2 things. 1. In these specific tests, he re-uses a lot of the questions he used in the little interim exams after each topic, so memory is a bug help v's perhaps being a genuine test. 2. Really needs to QA all texts (Questions, Answers, Explanations). Various grammatical errors, word omissions, etc. can cause some confusion and a requirement to re-read the relevant texts to ensure genuine comprehension. (Yes, english is his 2nd lang, but IIUC, he's been living in US for some time now). Otherwise, instructional as ever.

I am working on the review questions now, but I will be getting the lectures on the domain here in a few weeks. I currently hold a MS in Info Security and about to pick up a second MS in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance. I hope to have my CISSP by July or August. So far your performances are great. I appreciate all your help

Hi Thor, I used your test and videos and passed the exam at first attempt. I did't like the video at the beginning as too fast and hard to get used to your accent but once get used to it was great. I scored your tests above 75% and real test was bit challenging than them. Thank you Shan

I found the wording to be frustrating and even with the Internet and published books, it was difficult to find answers to some of these questions. After going through my second exam, I felt much more comfortable. Now it's time for a few re-takes. This is a solid test to help me move in the right direction for the official test.
