Course Description

* Updated for the 2024 CISSP Curriculum  - With much better questions and detailed explanations. *

I'm Thor Pedersen and these are my latest CISSP practice questions.
With over 790,000 enrollments from 209 countries, my courses covering Certified in Cybersecurity (CC), CISSP, PMP, and CISM are both "Best Selling" and "Highest Rated."
Join the ranks of students worldwide who trust my comprehensive courses for their cybersecurity learning needs.

The CISSP certification is the gold standard for IT Security certifications, with over 82,000 open CISSP jobs in the US, and an average CISSP salary in the US of over $150,000.

This course has 2 full CISSP practice exams each with 125 practice questions. The questions on these tests have the same domain weight as the real CISSP exam questions does.

* Updated for the 2024 CISSP curriculum *

What our other students are saying about our "CISSP practice questions #3" Course:

  • I passed the CISSP with the ISC Book and Thor's lectures and practice questions. Enough said! (Warren, 5-stars)

  • Hi Thor, I used your test and videos and passed the exam at first attempt. I scored your tests above 75% and real test was bit challenging than them. Thank you Shan (Shan, 5-stars)

  • I just passed my CISSP and used your question banks for study. All domains were covered and explanations on the questions were through. (John, 5-stars)

  • Of all the practice tests have paid for this one is the most helpful because it gave precise results so I am able to focus on the week points. I also appreciate how quickly Thor updated the test to reflect the new CAT style exam. (Kim, 5-stars)

  • This is my third course experience and Thor is my third instructor. I gave Thor a 5-star because of his knowledge, his grasp of English language, and his attitude. I love how Thor can explain complicated concepts clearly and make them easy to understand. I love how humble and polite his attitude is. I also like the fact that he is attentive and responsive to my questions. (Jin, 5-stars)

At the end of each test, you will get an explanation for each question, explaining why the right answer is the right answer.

You can see the total percentage score for the entire test as well as a weighted percent score for each of the 8 CISSP domains.

You can review each question and sort them by CISSP knowledge area, correct answers, wrong answers, skipped questions and questions marked for review.

The questions on these tests have the same domain weight as the real CISSP exam does

  1. Security and Risk Management – 20 questions per test (40 total)

  2. Asset Security – 13 questions per test (26 total)

  3. Security Engineering – 15 questions per test (30 total)

  4. Communications and Network Security – 15 questions per test (30 total)

  5. Identity and Access Management (IAM) – 16 questions per test (32 total)

  6. Security Assessment and Testing – 14 questions per test (28 total)

  7. Security Operations – 20 questions per test (40 total)

  8. Software Development Security – 12 questions per test (24 total)

Do multiple CISSP certification practice tests like this one, do the full 3 hours and 100-150 questions to see how you handle it, this is as much mental stamina and reading the questions right, and answering from an IT Security managers point of view, as it is the actual knowledge.

Many students do 3,000 – 5,000 CISSP certification practice questions, when I did my CISSP certification I was around the 3,500 mark.

You can take this CISSP certification practice test as many times as you want, the questions and the answer order is randomized.  I would suggest 80%+ of right answers consistently on all CISSP domains using multiple practice tests before booking the exam.

Prepare for the 2026 version of the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certification Exam.

Thor does an awesome job at covering the 8 domains in the CISSP. His quick sheets and study guides were also an invaluable asset during my time preparing for this gauntlet of a test. I bought a bogo voucher for the CISSP and with Thor's knowledge and experience I was sure to never run "Out Of Mana" during my second attempt which resulted in a pass! 10/10

Overall good questions, but some errors, and too much overlaps with the course. Here is an example of a mistake: "When an attacker is using code injections, it is MOSTLY targeting which leg of the CIA triad?" I answered Confidentiality. Which I know is true. For example I could extract credit card information using SQL injection. But the correct answer according to the exam is Integrity. How is that the most important issue here? From OWASAP: "If successfully exploited, impact could cover loss of confidentiality, loss of integrity, loss of availability, and/or loss of accountability"

Super awesome. Get in there. So much information being tested on that is not covered by the official Sybex study guide. Have to review and read additional resources.

By Hadrian Knotz on 10/12/2019

The exam questions are extremely vague, and several of the answered questions were marked as incorrect when I did in fact answer the correct ones. Example, Question 64 on test 1, essentially states that the IP address is NOT a type of PHI, but this is incorrect, it generally is accepted as an Example of PHI as it can potentially be used to identify a person.

By Hrishi Samant on 7/2/2018

Overall good. Just have a doubt regarding one question "which operation to move last during DR restoration". The correct answer as per the test series is "Least Critical". I may be wrong but, it should be "Most critical".. Please comment

The actual CISSP exam is completely different and none of the practice tests (either this or any other) would come close. Used this a week before my exam. Even though I did not score well, it helped me identify my weak points and prepare better. I passed the actual exam a couple of days back

By Gregory CHRISTINE on 1/9/2018

the course is great but i found some flaws on the question about the ssd definition, the answer is EEPROM and DRAM, so it is not the same on the test : EPROM and DRAM i will send you an e mail about that

By Keyser Söze on 12/13/2017

Another round of tough questions. Would definitely recommend these as testing and study tools. I've had to research about a few of these topics. Great resource and tool.

By Joshua Wood on 12/8/2017

The questions we overall very good, however grammar and verbiage were not consistent with what is in the materials. Perhaps a review of the content would help drill down on this. Overall very well put together.

By Anna Machaj on 11/29/2017

It is useful. I have not taken CISSP exam so it is hard to be sure but it seems that some questions might be outside the scope. They are at least not covering topics in the book recommended by ISC2 for preparation for the exam. Some are possibly from more specialized certification after CISSP.
