CISSP: How to study (plans, tips, materials, approach) 2026 (Udemy.com)

This is a great introductory course to the CISSP exam. It is not so much CISSP term heavy as much as it gives you best practices to study for the exam, and Thor Pederson walks you through every scenario, including best practices for if and when you fail the exam your first time. Exams are my weakness, and it helps to know how best to study for this one should I get the opportunity to take it. Thor also acknowledges the difficulties that certain students would have with such an exam. I'm really glad I took the course, and I look forward to his next one.

I think thor has a very good experience in interacting with CISSP students and has collected their experiences well and created an interesting output. He has interesting ideas for studying and is completely fluent in the CAT exam. I am just starting out but I got a good feeling from him and I think if I continue with him I will definitely succeed.

I am about to start my CISSP journey. I wanted to gain some insight and this course helped me to better understand. I watch the video at 1.5x speed and it helped alot. However some minor updates as new books are out especially Pete Zerger-The last mile, Destination:CISSP are some of it. The PPT still referring to some old books but still noteworthy. Overall good course. Will recommend to watch.

Solid course on how to prepare for the overall CISSP exam. Much of this content is repeated in Thor's Domain Specific Boot Camp training, however this gives a really good overview and mentality for tackling the test prior to going deeper into the individual domains. I found it useful.

It was good starting point and lot of details and tips. The only thing I don't get, is why a lots of time is being said it is "Free" and I ended up paying. Since, I did everything from the Udemy website shouldn't be free also here? What are the differences to do it from here or from the website? In a nutshell it helped me creating a plan and having an overview about what I'll be facing. Cheers.

This course was very helpful, and I am excited to begin my study program. I love the study plan, that has worked for me in the past. The course provided the order of materials, and Thor made the extra effort to research and recommend popular course. Outlining how many practice questions should be completed, and the method for using those questions to increase your learning.

I really liked how the learning for CISSP is divided into planning, prep and test taking. Loved that there are links to other resources. Also one thing i liked is the building of attitude in taking exam and discussing some critical life lessons such as failure only makes you better and learn from mistakes and learn it good. Thanks

I'm at the beginning of my CISSP journey and I thought this course was definitely worth taking. If you're wondering where to start and need assistance developing a strategy this is excellent. There are lots of great resources shared here. I took a ton of notes so it took me probably twice as long to watch the whole course, but it was worth it. I'm feeling very motivated after seeing this.

A good preparation for the exam is essential and shouldn´t be neglected. And that´s this course about: preparation for the exam, to build a strategy. I like how Thor explains the facts and the ideas he passes on. Although this is focused on the CISSP exam taking you can also apply the concepts on other exams or topics as well.
