Competitive Programming Essentials, Master Algorithms (Udemy.com)

Having taken this course previously, I can attest to its effectiveness as a starting point for competitive programming. It provides a solid knowledge base.

Very excellent and well thought out course. Prateek and Apaar did a great job. The English is clear for anyone concerned about the accents. Prateek's sections were better explained though and with fewer mistakes, I wish he did more of the videos. I wish there were coding solutions for all problems because those are missing. For example the permutations coding solution video doesn't exist. For DP I wish they provided solutions videos going from Recursive to memoization to tabulation for all DP problems. This is the best way to guarantee quick and efficient learning DP. Other thing is the math sections should have some topics listed as advanced so that someone doesnt delve too deep into the math at the beginning. For example you dont need extended euclidian method or matrix exponentiation when starting Competitive programming but eucledian method, Binary exponentiation, modular exponentiation, etc are very crucial at the start. So I think the math section is comprehensive enough but needs to have clear markers for more advanced math topics that the user can cover later closer to the end. Other thing is there needs to be more problems for the math section with video solutions as well. Now onto the Greedy section. I think the Greedy section should have been larger considering just how tricky Greedy topic can be. This would make the course perfect. Otherwise its been an excellent course so far and I would say the best for CP. Thank you Prateek and Apaar.

The course is really good and complete. It gives you a good view of all the basis that are related to CP. Despite the fact that some explanations could be better, the content is really helpfull and can make you improve your performance while doing contests.

The explanation is useful, good explanations. Sometimes is difficult to read what he wrote because it was written by hand with a digital pencil.

Not bad, but not great either. The instructors are often just making statements instead of teaching concepts. Some of the problems are just taken from online sites but without any explanation about how they are related to the teaching material. I often needed to go to a search engine to find better descriptions of the concepts.

Prateek and Apar sir both are great. Content is awesome and feedback given on discuss section is respected and implemented too.

Wow! This course is just amazing! I have never seen a course which is even close to this one on this topic! Really want to thank the creators of this wonderful course!

This course has high quality videos explanation for some of the best contest like AtCoder DP contest (all task 20+). USP of this is quality! Loved the course.

I have been following prateek bhaiya from DSA essential ->DSA level UP-> now Cp essentials and Graph theory...i started programming late in 5th sem...but the enthusiasm to learn cp has never been low...Lets see how far will i go from here..gonna give my 200%. .....There is a UPDATE I GOT FTE @ AMAZON(oncampus). Once again Thanks Apaar bhaiya and Prateek bhaiya...if it was not for you people..i couldn't have get here...from no internship in 3rd year to FTE @AMAZON...i am truly blessed to have you guyz as my instructor...Also I am doing great on codeforces and Leetcode contests.
