Even though I finished this course in Jan. 2026, almost all the contents can be applied in the actual work, except Zbrush team introduced the retopo brush in Dec.2025. I would say that is better than using Zsphere to do the retopo. I would recommend this course to any starters cuz the course is pretty clear and easy to understand and follow. Wish everyone a good journey learning ZBrush!

The instructor explains a little too fast (at least on how I'm accustomed to learn), however, he covers a lot of relevant fundamental points with working with Zbrush. If you ever feel overwhelmed by the amount of information given in one-go, just remember it's a matter of practice, persevering, enhancing observation skills and feeling comfortable and confident with the software (furthermore, you can rewind videos and take notes to recall certain aspects). I give it this 4.5 stars because it would be great if some things were explained in more depth (both practice and a theory is what I mean. As in the "why" you're doing x action and what would be some of the use cases). >Side note: if anybody's wondering if you can follow the course even if you've got a newest Zbrush version, yes, you can, it's quite easy to follow along (I've got the 2024.0.4 version, by the way).

I can't recommend the "Complete Guide to Zbrush" course enough! As a Blender user, I wanted to expand my knowledge of industry-standard 3D software, and this course was perfect for that. The content is incredibly helpful and well-structured. The instructor's teaching style is clear and engaging, making complex techniques easy to grasp. The course includes excellent exercises that reinforce learning and encourage creativity. Whether you're a beginner or looking to refine your skills, this course is an invaluable resource. Thank you for such a rewarding learning experience!

Hello, I recommend this course 200% ! Abraham Leal is a great teacher, his voice is pleasant, well recorded, his explanations are precise, his advice relevant, the exercises he proposes are very instructive on various essential points, and are not too long. Everything is very well balanced, which was very pleasant for me. During the course, he gives all kinds of excellent advice on how to work, how to evolve, how to perceive the sculpting profession and how to evolve in the way you work. You can go for it with your eyes closed, you won't regret it. Thank you !

The course was very useful and informative. As a Japanese, it was very difficult for me to understand the instructor's machine-gun-like English, but I was able to continue the lesson without hesitation because the screen controls were clear and easy to understand. The content of the lesson was to learn how to operate Zbrush by creating 9 different types of models, but there were many things I did not know, and now that I have finished the lesson, I feel fulfilled with the new knowledge I gained. I highly recommend this course and the instructor's friendly personality.

When I began this course, I already knew Maya in depth. However, I knew nothing about Zbrush whatsoever! It made me realise that I may want to start practising more organic forms because previously on Maya I was a huge fan of hard surface modelling. I found this course so much fun and I think you get satisfying outcomes because of how many different models you make. I would now confidently be able to go and sculpt my own models. One thing I would love to see (I'm not sure if you've done it already) is a lesson on high poly/low poly and baking for games assets as I don't know what any of it means! This would be really helpful!

It's a really good course. It was cool to see that the instructor was interested in his work and he was excited to teach us. The basics of Zbrush were covered, no unnecessary stuff, and there was also a lot of useful advice outside of Zbrush. The only section that confused me a bit was the HardSurface helmet. The techniques shown in the video were a bit strange, no matter how much I tried, I could not achieve the necessary, smooth and clean shapes with the brushes. A few videos on youtube showed me more tricky, but actually simple ways to create HardSurface elements. However, this did not significantly affect my learning, as most of the Hardurface section is more than understandable. On average, it took me about 4 times longer to complete than the author (even though I tried to do things my way, not too much like the author). Also for me, as a foreigner who is not fluent in English, the course was very clear, the author uses understandable vocabulary and expresses himself clearly. I can strongly recommend the course to those who want to get acquainted with Zbrush.

This whole course went above and beyond. I needed a course that would catch me up to speed fast and this whole course was well worth the money. What I enjoyed about this was the different chapters and how we applied what we learned into these fun little projects throughout the course. The teacher covered ALOT of what ZBrush has to offer pretty thoroughly, was a single time I got lost. It was fun and easy to follow along. A must have course for those wanting to get started with ZBrush

Good course, will deffo get you into Zbrush most crucial functions. It is fast, but eventually you can slow down video or rewind, later on I got used to the Tutor's speed. Got lost sometimes but asked question on Q&A section and Tutor helped me out. It is true sometimes you need to find something by yourself but this is the way you learn too. I have bought more courses from this Tutor, can't wait to learn more from him. I had zero knowledge, but I really like Zbrush now!
