Complete Linux Bootcamp for Beginners (Udemy.com)

Did not like emacs it worked at the very onset of class, then after that it went into oblivion, The class was awfully good up to the emac bash .bashrc then it was gibberish after that I stayed with it, but I have no idea what is going on. Also, this was my first time being enroll into a difficult course. I have to go back to the very basics, the elementary part of bash and etc. Overall, it was not your fault, you were clear and you showed details when possible, but I just could not get it. I may get it after a few more classes and other instructors showing their twist on gaining a hold on understanding Linux. Thanks!

Loved the examples and explanations. A few questions left unanswered by the lectures. I will post. Also no included .txt or .sed files for download - but the good thing was they were very short and even I could type them in fairly quickly. So that really was no issue at all.

Such a well-presented course. Everything was explained clearly and concisely; extremely helpful without being overwhelming. I went into the course knowing almost nothing about working with Linux command lines, and now feel comfortable doing things beyond the scope of the course like remoting into a headless (no monitor/desktop) Raspberry Pi, and writing basic scripts in Linux and Mac OS.

Good Explanation with examples for beginners

Had a great learning experience. It was an amazing training session.

The level and content was generally good for an introductory course but I thought that the section on regular expressions was a bit shallow for such difficult and big topic. The lessons whizzed through a lot of material. Overall though it's a good introduction to the linux command line.

I am sorry, I am not a person that gives bad reviews... But there are several reasons... Most important ones:
-It's incomplete, you hear the instructor saying we will see this continuously and the course stops abruptly.
- It's annoying to have 8 seconds at the beginning of each video with the music until he starts talking, plus 8 seconds in the end...
- He assumes that we know and understand many things... Things that I have to find on my own while pausing the video.

Good course, would be a lot better if files were provided. Had to make a lot of my own to be able to follow along.

The course content is good, but the intro and outro music are too loud and annoying at each video entry. having a headset on, these intro music are very disturbing at high volume.
