This course is teaches the basics of using the linux shell, and is intended as a first course in using the terminal. This course is lite version of our main course Linux Shell Course for Beginners. In this course you’ll learn how to navigate the directory structure, show the contents of directories, how to understand and work with file permissions and more.

This is a very good beginner's course. It was a challenge for me at the start, but then I started to catch on. It's amazing how all these things go on in the background in computers. Make sure to take notes of the command/prompt codes. It starts to make sense when you see the instructor's examples which are very helpful. Thank you.
