This CompTIA Security+ course will show you to harden, protect and enhance your network to where it would lessen the possibility of a bridge in security and allow you to recover your network promptly.  

The course will also prepare the student to take and pass the Security+ certification.

For those already in the field, this Security+ course will enhance your knowledge of security within your network.

Those taking this course will become familiar with the terminology for this certification and will allow the student to implement security features.

Once the student passes the CompTIA Security+ certification exam, they will also receive a letter from the US Department of Defence (DoD) certifying that he/she meets and fulfills Directive 8570.01-M requirements. Having this certification is compliant with government regulations under the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA).

Security+ is a foundational, vendor-neutral IT security knowledge and skills certification that is also government approved and is globally recognized.

Not finished as of yet but enjoying the course so far.. more than Mike Meyers or others. I am trying to rectify and using this as a refresher. The information is explained with real world examples and seems to focus on more of the important things not just for the exam but for practical use. Laz is easy to understand and very relatable.

instructor has been on a working enviroment and knows exactly what are the risks in an operational enviroment, and what one needs to do to to secure your enviroment in the age of ransomware and cyber terrorists

The presentation is a little colloquial for me and I'm am not confident that all of the definitions that will be in the exam are being covered, but I appreciate the real world examples and the obligatory explanation of CompTIA's test requirements.

The material given is on point with other classes that i have taken. Also, the lecture from this site can be paused so that you can play it again just in case you miss something that was covered.

This course seems like a 100 mph overview of basic information. The course also advertised practice tests, and there was none available. A number of other people, along with myself asked where to find them, and our question were ignored. I would not recommend this course, you could find a better $10 course on Udemy.

The instructor Laz is an animated teacher giving you different scenarios on how to view things from the lecture. Making security much easier to learn. The only thing I need to mention is the audio levels go low to high when Laz is speaking other than that I'm happy.

Been doing self study on this, in prep for the Sec+ test. Great instructor. Really funny guy! 1st one of his courses I've taken, which has me now looking at few other things he has. But for Sec+, with my self study, I found this course to really give my notes written from the book approach, a strong frame work, and build around. And it cleared up a few concepts and practices for me. I'm going to be going back through this again, prior to the test. But over all 5 out 5. Thank you Mr. Diaz!
