Course Description
Learn Cisco CLI time saving commands like "/", "+", "more", "linenum", regular expressions and many more. Save yourself hours when working with the Cisco CLI. Learn tips and tricks from CCIEs and others with many years of networking experience.
Why spend time struggling to find command output when the Cisco CLI makes it easy to search for text?
There are many commands covered in this course and I will add more based on the feedback I receive.
So many commands are available in the Cisco IOS. For example:
"^" beginning of line
"$" end of line
"." single character
"\" escape special meaning
"|" or so you you select multiple options
"linenum" and line numbers
"_" which is a space
"sh run all" to show all the configuration
"default interface" to reset interface configuration
"reload in" to reload the router at a specific time

Very useful information with a lot of time saving tips and techniques. Time in networking is the most valuable metric especially when troubleshooting.

It's a great simple set of videos if you're someone who already knows the cisco environment and wants some tips on the cli. The instructor assumes you already know some things, so he doesn't explain every single thing he's doing. It's assumed you have some basic knowledge already. Also the course is free!

This course actually helps you troubleshoot better. Also you kind of want to learn more about troubleshooting efficiently when you go through this course.

David Bombal is awesome I love his courses. I have been working as a Network Engineer in a Senior role for the last 15 years, presently I am preparing to take the CCIE Security Lab. I always learn something from his videos even ones I think I know pretty well like the IOS for example. Keep up the good work David !!!!

David is a great teacher. I have about 5 years of Cisco IOS experience and have never seen some of the commands he used in his exercises. Good stuff and the videos are well put together.

This is good course. I am not that much aware about GNS and also not regularly working with this OS . So because of this reason i am facing problem somewhere. Otherwise course is very good. Keep posting sir.

Good and detailed information, very educational and not so commonly used commands (at least I didn't know some from standard console usage). Everything is spoken in one tone unfortunately which might make you tired/lose interest more quickly. But it was spoken very clearly and with good pronunciation so it was easy to understand. Speed of the course is fine as well.
