I have a background in Computer Science and familiar only with C++ and have not coded for 5,6 years. This course is great for me to pickup with the new language in the fastest way by applying it right away in the real life application.

O instrutor está de parabéns. Domina muito bem o react native, escreve código de forma bastante clean e funcional e está atento às boas práticas de programação. No entanto ao projeto do curso faltam features importantes que seriam uma mais valia. O final na secção 26 é inesperado, nem parece que o curso termina, e devia existir uma secção final a explicar como criar os builds para produção e como submeter o projeto para as lojas Play Store e Apple Store.

A good course overall. I am a React developer and took this course to get a gist of React Native. However, since it's labeled as an intermediate course, I have higher expectations and wish the code could be more consistent and adhere to best practices.

This is an absolutely fantastic course. Reece is the best instructor I've come across on udemy by far. A fantastic, talented teacher who always explains topics in detail, and will always reply to your questions, so if you get stuck, don't worry! I've learnt so much from this project. Would definitely recommend this course to anyone wanting to get into react native. You will learn everything from the basic, e.g how components are rendered, all the way upto advanced state management and firebase integration. All the code is written clearly and concisely and the organisation is superb. Will definitely be taking more courses from Reece in the future.

Hi Reece, Thanks for the amazing course loved a lot and learned a lots of content in the course. Definitely a very good course but still i believe that lots of things in the code could have done better and in more optimized and simple way and yes most of the things is updated in newer of react native and expo please keep updating this course for the future participants. Please don't think that Iam writing a bad review about this course these points if u include these things in your upcoming courses it will make our coding journey more easier Please use native wind in your upcoming courses it will be very easier compared to stylesheet Some important things like the token expiration on app refresh and logout user after 60 mins these should never happen in an app like WhatsApp clone its very bad user experience. If you would have added the way to take a EAS build to use the app in real device it will also be a good because after spending huge amount of time to build a WhatsApp like app and not able to share it because some learners might struggle on how to take a build please include this as well in your upcoming courses..

I appreciate everything! But still the general feeling is not like a lesson, it's more like "here's what I did so you can copy". A project should use some well-known design patterns and the teacher should inform us that we are using one now, anyway this app lacks a lot of things to even come close to the functionality of WhatsApp, but its a nice basic app.

Good course, straight to the point without too much of lengthy explanations. Really the best way to get going, since most of the actual learning is done by building your own stuff.

This is the best or most easy to practice course on Udemy. I am so satisfied at the instructor's ability to communicate information with such ease. I had to follow on all social media platforms. I am buying all his old courses on Udemy. Indeed, the best instructor alive.

Amazing demonstration of a real world application scenario. would love to see some updates to the course where you can update : Node version vs react native version dependencies and libraries issues.

Reece Kenney is probably my favorite Udemy instructor and explains things succinctly and logically. True story: I was in between jobs about three years ago and took his course on creating an online portfolio. There were a number of Udemy courses at that time which I used for my portfolio, but it was his course that I heavily customized and subsequently landed me a job at a large airline a couple of months later. This course, like his others, is very addictive and you’ll be hirable for watching it -- if you’re willing to put in the work.
