Create engaging 2D Game UI with Inkscape! (Udemy.com)

He gave some good examples for creating UI with multiple genres. I had this course for a while, and his techniques are still relevant as of today. Some filters are gone, some are renamed, but most of the tools are the same. Will recommend this course as a starting point.

I enjoyed the instructor's pace and clear explanations. The only thing I wish from this course is to have downloadable graphic files so I could easily follow along. I had to go to the web and search for comparable images and characters.

Awesome. Teacher moves at a bit of a fast pace, but thank God I can step and rewind and replay. Some more detailed explanation is needed at time, like editing and object by nodes. But otherwise everything is great.

I think this is good for beginners and someone who wants to know more techniques. Everything in the lessons looks simple and practical. each lesson is not too long. I can watch again and again, and catch what I missed in the previous time of watching. The new version of Inkscape looks slightly different but all steps of works shown in the videos can be followed as always. Love that the instructor shows how to make shadow for the text. Wonderful course.

Good course. Gave me a lot of insights to do UI in my game, how to combine my game art with the UI. Recommeded!

no resources. quite useless

Very clear, and applicable to real life, only a couple of hours of practicing by following the lectures, I am already able to design my own game icons that looks almost professional. Pros) Very useful and applicable to real-life fast. Cons) The lectures can be a little slower, I had to pause the video, and rewind to follow the steps.

Muy buena explicación acerca de como diseñar con inkscape iconos para 3 tipos de juegos. Me faltó una explicación para realizar paisajes o imágenes de fondo, el resto muy bien. Los subtítulos están muy muy malos (pero no corresponden al instructor)

I already had a bit of experience with Inkscape, however, I learned useful tricks from István. The course, in general, is very easy to digest and the lessons are focused on simple but real-life examples, 100% recommended for beginners.
