I took "Daniel Walter Scott" other course from Fiverr, which is "Build a responsive website using HTML5 & CSS3". After that, I thought, what is Next? Then I go to bringyourownlaptop.com site, here I find Dan tells what is the next, "Malcolm Knott" will help. Then I found Udemy & saw that it is a Free Course Now. Yes, It has been fully explained but I think is easier to leave a note or chart with the full requirements of the course, because there's a domain at the end of the course that you must pay it and don't have more choices to continue, since my point of view has a good explanation of all topics of the subjects, and only one objection is that the teacher over the guidance uses many times copy pastes without a deep explanation.

Of course, it's clearly seen that you are a professional, but you need to come to the level of beginners in order to make them comprehend. Saving yourself the typing stress is one of the biggest reasons the course is boring. This is no different from copying codes from AI and making video on it. Below my expectation

This was a straight-to-the-point course. It assumes students have a fair bit of prerequisite knowledge since this is not really a beginner's topic. I found everything to be clearly explained and easy to follow. My only recommendation for future courses would be to increase the font size of your recordings so it is a little bit easier to see. I has some issues differentiating between square and round brackets while streaming at low-ish resolution.

Overall it is a great introduction to understand how databases. work. I also really liked that at the end he uploads the project to a real server. Having said that, I encountered some issues and here are the solutions I found: 1) I couldn't connect to localhost:8080/projects/ .To solve that I opened VScode with admin rights and I opened httpd.conf file which I found on C:\xampp\apache\conf. Inside that I found "Listen 80" and I changed 80 to 8666. Then save and close. Then anywhere in the code or browser that he puts 8080, I put 8666. 2) I couldn't store data to my database. The problem was that in Daniels lesson we usually open our page using Live server extension (right click/open with Live server). That opens a page with url: http://127.0.0.1:5500/index.html . Instead the page that you should open is: http://localhost:8080/projects/meat-yogurt (or 8666 if you have problems with 8080). There submiting data works great with no problems. 3) I didn't realize initialy that there is a button under the 2nd lesson that says Resources and contain all the code.... 4) In lesson 3 he installs xammp and looks very different from the program I installed, because this is the Mac version. I didn't see it initially that in lesson 4 he installs also a windows version.... All these may sound obvious for some but for an inexperienced user like me it wasn't.

Very quick and to the point. Solid tutorial on what the PHP setup workflow looks like. If you're a beginner (like me), please keep in mind that it'll take a few tries to get the entire workflow down.

An excellent short course that complements the Responsive web design course I completed recently. This provides a good introduction to using PHP on a user input form for the website built in the previous course.

This was amazing no joke. I have been developing WordPress sites for some years now and really found that this understanding of the ebb and flow that the database and code have is key. The tutorial its self was quick and in tune with the information.

Really awesome course. Teacher is awesome. Volume is great. And there’s no audio language barrier when the teacher is speaking. Only thing I didn’t like about this course is it’s very hard to see, teacher needs to make future course zoomed in.

Very useful introduction to PHP and MySQL. The XAMM installation interface shown only pertained to Mac users. However, it wasn't difficult for a Windows OS user such as me to find the correlation and follow the course. Thanks Malcolm for the course although it felt like it was too short. Looking forward to start implementing what I have learnt into my web site.
