Course Description
This course looks at the basics of Great Customer Service and how that can lead to greater success for your business with less reliance on paid advertising and marketing. We look at the definition of Customer Service, the different outcomes that great service or poor service can lead to, and some simple ideas and examples to help you start thinking about how you can improve the service to your customers and prospective customers.
The course starts with an examination of what customer service means, we then look at the outcomes of great service vs poor service before moving on to some basic golden rules and some thinking points for you to focus on. We also look at what happens when things go wrong, and why simply offering a refund is not always the best way of handling a tricky situation - how do you take a customer complaint and turn it into a way to build better relationships with your customers? Service should be at the very heart of your business, it's something that is 100% in your control. We look at and test your Moments of Truth and find out what they mean to your customers.
This is a conversational course at a beginner level which may also be worth revisiting for more experienced professionals. It's my hope that everybody comes away from this with at least one thing that they take on and use for the rest of their career and that by improving your service you develop yourself as well as your businesses.
I hope you enjoy the course....remember.....the key to great service is consistency!

The person who delivered this material was excellent in his delivery and style. I like how his voice was not monotone but deliberate and accented the importance of the points with perfect facial expressions, and without a lot of jazz. Simple and easy to follow him!

The instructor did seem to be educated in customer service. I liked the fact that there was a quiz to complete at the end of the course. I think the quizzes help to pinpoint what was learned and what was retained or not.

The udemy format of starting and stopping with these sub 3 minute videos is a painful learning experience, no shade to the presenter, it's obviously a site wide format issue.

My first attempt to attend this course was not very good. I had some issues with audio but after a couple of days, I returned and discovered it was a Microsoft Edge issue and not the course. My apologies and sincerest appreciation for this course content.

I actually wanted to take a course of ServiceNow, the tool. I realised very quickly that I wasn't taking the right course but I continued because the trainer could successfully dragged my attention to the essence of ServiceNow. I'm happy that I can learn something important for establishing a good relation with my customers. Bravo!

To me, this is a reminder of the importance of a customer and providing an excellent service all the time even if the customer was rude not to take it personal but to do the opposite of giving a rude customer an excellence servce too.

Yes. it was a good foundation and had some good reminders. I particularly took away the notion of going beyond one's own means in a way to provide solutions for a customer such as looking to other suppliers or service providers in order to get the customer close to the service or product they seek.

I really, really enjoyed this course. The instructor was very knowledgeable. The practical examples that he used to bring across the points helped to make things more understandable and relatable.

Yes a good match - I like the seriousness and tone - I dislike peppy all enthusiastic talks as it takes away from the importance of business fundamental of service and ramifications on bottom line
