Course Description
Learn Best Practices for Stopping Data Breaches, Fraud and Identity Theft
Even the best cybersecurity software con’t stop you from choosing a weak password, clicking a bad link or installing a social networking app that snoops into your address book, calendar or geodata.
And that’s not all. With cybercrime and corporate espionage on the rise, we’ve entered the age where even private digital correspondence should be created to withstand public scrutiny. This course teaches you how.
The risks are everywhere. 11.5 million people are victims of identity fraud each year and that number is rising. And it takes 330 hours, on average, to repair the damage.
Protect yourself, your family and your work. Get this introductory course right now and learn how to safeguard your data and reputation.

It's easy to understand. Most things are common sense just re-iteration of basic logic. Good stories and what you could do wrong but lack real hands on examples. Information are somewhat not in pace with our current society as it is moving quite rapidly. It's a good preview if you decide to dig more on this topic.

Cubre lo estrictamente indispensable para protegerse. Tiene muy buenos consejos también, aplicable tanto en lo personal como en lo profesional. Me hubiera gustado que ahondara más en lo que hay que hacer en caso de que ya existe algún incidente.

The course was definitely an eye-opener. Though knowing about such threats we seldom take care of them or care less until something wrong doing takes place. I will soon be embarking on using some of the concepts and suggestions recommended by Eric in this course. Thank you, Eric.

The course is meant for the General Audience and not for the people who want to make a career in Cyber Security since it's an elementary level course. Basically it's not a course. It's an awareness video. Cyber Security cannot be taught in an hour and Eric Schwartzman has delivered a good general idea of Cyber Security. The only recommendation from my side is that in future you must have more zeal and charisma when delivering the course.

It's a fine course, It was well edited, and it has I nice quality of sound and soundtrack, but it's too simple, maybe it's a good choice for someone that is new in this field, but if you take a time to search in google about the topic, you will find all the information that this course has and more for free !!

I am a Computer Engineer, Graphics Designer + Consultant. Before taking these series of lectures I feel some issues in my social security. Although being a Compter Engineer I know most of these basic thinks but some thinks like 'don't open links directly' is really a new one for me. Overall, the course is very interesting and useful. I recommend it to my friends and fellows. Thank you very much.

I liked this mini course. Although this is my first course on Udemy, I have a few things to notice: 1) This course professionally made and very easy to understand; 2) It is a very useful information and this course made me think better about how I use internet. I applied some tips provided by instructor immediately. Thank you.

A few things, of course, are common sense. But then again, common sense doesn't always appear to be common these days. ;-) Anyway, this is great starter course for learning more about Cybersecurity and how to protect yourself from a variety of scams you might encounter online.

A short and to the point course. There is relevant information spoken about here that will assist everyone at some point regardless of which country you live in. The speaker is knowledgeable and provides great, easy to follow advice for security on several devices/media platforms. Worth your time.
